You manage to crack the DIGITAL DISPLAY, but are unable to destroy it completely. Meh, good enough.

>> Jimmy: Ask magic 8-ball which button will turn the unrefined stone into a good gem.

>> Trent: Take thingy on top of ABC machine.

Oh hey, it turns out to be a BOX OF STAPLES with 50 STAPLES inside! You put it in your INVENTORY.

>> Trent: Grab walkie-talkies and check out the other stations for people talking. If a station seems clear, give one to Jimmy.
>> Trent: Toss Jimmy a walkie-talkie.

There's nothing on any STATION whatsoever, so you toss a WALKIE-TALKIE to JIMMY. You equip the one you hold.

JIMMY doesn't have any room left in his INVENTORY, so he automatically equips his WALKIE-TALKIE.

>> Jimmy: Tune walkie-talkies to the same frequency.

Already taken care of!

>> Both: Hold walkie talkies together to make a high pitched noise. See who can withstand the sound the longest.

OH GOD THIS IS HORRENDOUS. After a couple of minutes of this you agree to a truce, because the last thing you want to do is inadvertently alert someone to your position because of your EAR-SPLITTING SCREECHING NOISE.

>> Jimmy: Place Jaitia onto belt

You place your lump of JAITIA on the CONVEYOR BELT, but nothing happens.

>> Trent: Investigate control panel room. Look at papers on desk.

You unshuffle some of the PAPERS on the DESK and take a look.

You gain a small bit of insight about how things work, but not too much.

>> Trent: Analyze ABC machine and calendar on the floor.

The ABC MACHINE doesn't look like much--it just has three BUTTONS on it labeled A, B, and C.

The CALENDAR on the FLOOR, however, is not a CALENDAR at all. It's some strange kind of TRANSPARENT OVERLAY, like what they used to use on those overhead projectors in school. What could it mean? You go ahead and place it in your INVENTORY.
