Well episode 2 of this season was certainly interesting and shocking.

Solid episode, nothing amazing, just a (relatively) normal day at the office, hearkening back to feel of Season 2. Good development of the Michael-Holly story line, be interesting to see where they are leading us there.

I'm losing faith in the Office. Very fast. I chuckled a bit at Creed's LET'S PUT A SMILE ON THAT FACE, and then didn't even smile through the rest of the episode. And Creed's line wasn't even a joke, it's just a pop culture reference.

And so begins the Office's downward spiral into mediocrity. I hope not, but still.

I disagree, I thought that was one of the best openers of the series. Also I thought the Andy/Dwight Cornell conflict was hilarious. The Michael/Holly plot really wasnt supposed to funny, but it still had its funny parts and remained touching and sad. Ill give you that the Jim/Pam plot was a dud though. All in all, I did not think it was a bad episode. If that episode made you start losing faith fast, I cant imagine how little faith you had during the early part of season 4. At least no cars were driven into lakes.

See I thought both the Driving the car into a lake episode, and the last episode were good.

Season 5 isn't too bad either, I miss Toby though :(
