Jak did a crouch jump to avoid the Dark Strike that came towards him. He then started using his hoverboard as fast as he could away from him, not knowing where the others were. He boarded towards the only tree on the plain.

Just as Kaileena began to raise up, the four invisible Dark Jak clones appeared on the ground near her. Each rose up to about her high, and dark electricity shot about, in an attempt to stop her attack.

Meanwhile, the five Kaileena clones formed a perimiter around Szayel.

The remaining Dark Jak clone began to dash after Jak on his hoverboard.

Noticing she was about to be attacked again as she saw lightning build up around her, Kaileena aimed all three tornadoes directly at Szayel, and stopped controlling them herself, letting them move in a straight line. She then dropped down into the tornado she was currently on herself, hoping for the inert Sands to hold off the lightning.

"Fight me directly, you coward! The Empress of Time demands it!"

Jak looked behind him and noticed that one dark Jak was following him, the rest were around the woman. Jak hopped off his board. He knows that if this is a complete clone of him, it will run out of Dark Eco soon. He decideds to hold it off until it does.

Once it had gotten close enough to Jak, the clone unleashed Dark Bomb. (You should know this attack, since you're rping Jak :-s

Knowing he couldn't move fast enough, Szayel grasped his tentacles around 2 Kaileena clones (to be safe) and had the other three teleport away.

In the meantime, the 4 invincible Dark Jak's leapt into the tornado surrounding Kaileena and... clawed, or kicked or however Jak attacks at her. (If you need clarification, ask Rat.)

The three tornados hit Szayel directly, badly wounding him as they sped past, heading in the general direction of Itachi and Mao. As soon as the tornado's passed, the three other Kaileena clones gathered around Szayel to protect him again.

Defeated, Szayel collapsed to the ground. "Damn... You... got me..."

Szayel Apporo Grantz was dead.

For several seconds, after which he burst from the mouth of one of the Kaileena clones he had grabbed onto. Soon after he burst out, the clone dispelled to prevent the Sands of Time from being unleashed. "But, I just happen to be an perfect being that cannot be destroyed." said Szayel as the other Kaileena clone he had grabbed onto freed herself.

OOC: After you each react to the attacks of the Dark Jak's, the mode will run out and they will revert to normal Jak.

As Dark Jak did a Dark Bomb, Jak quickly turned into Light Jak and did Light Shield. When Dark Bomb finished, Light Jak changed back into Jak, as did the Dark Jak. Now it was a standoff between Jak, and a perfect clone of Jak. Jak pulled out his mini-nuke, and fired it, using up 1/3 of his peacemaker ammo.

OOC: I feel I'm at a good enough distance that the mini-nuke will only affect the cloned Jak in front of me. Dark Jak's regular attacks are he lunges foreward while slicing with his claws.

I assume that if there's no one else around (i.e. no clones of anyone, and also a lack of enemies within a few meters), then he can't use Gabriel. Also, how does this ooze clone thing work? What does the ooze have to hit? Can it penetrate beskar (which can block a lightsaber)? Mainly, do the clones have the collective knowledge of the target, and does Grantz have access to that knowledge? If he does, is it all at once or as he chooses? How much actual control does he have over the clones, and can he use the senses of his clones? How much can the clones act on their own, and can they communicate with Grantz? All of these are important should Fett ever fight Grantz.

1. You're right about Gabriel.

2. Should it simply touch someone, it can likely make a clone of them. It doesn't specificly have to touch the skin of something really.

3. Szayel has control of the clones. The clones have all your strengths weaknesses and abilities. That's all there is to be said, really.

My apologies for making you wait (still.) I planned to make a post two nights ago but ran out of time tackling more important things first. I still have several hours of homework to go for this programming project that's due very soon, as well as studying for two very tough midterm exams on Monday and Tuesday.

It was hard to tell, but it sort of seemed like Fett's reaction time dropped or something when he was hit with the bolt. Just for a split second. Something's up...maybe his helmet's not just for decoration? Does he have electronics under there? ...Of course! That's how he knew where I was teleporting to with Top Gear. Being hit with lightning probably isn't in his best interests--I should keep that in mind. Just then, Fett fired another left-right-center series of shots. Neku's head spun. He could try to dodge them again and probably get grazed, or use Top Gear and teleport (except Fett would probably know where he was.) Luckily, he was holding a third option: Fresh Line. (Unfortunately, its side effect also went against everything Neku was trying to practice in the battle.)

Neku activated Fresh Line and vanished, the bullets going right past where he had just been standing. And without a moment's notice or any kind of delay, he reappeared mid-attack, barely above Fett and coming down fast with a hard punch, primed for a knockback.

OOC:

"Slash vertically down on an enemy and Neku will teleport above it and attack with a downward stab."
This pin is amazing for knockbacks. Neku comes down on a rhinocerus or a mammoth and somehow it not only takes a bit of damage but also staggers like 5 feet backwards. (I wish I had some gameplay videos for you, sorry.)

OOC: Right in front, and right in Fett's vision. Interesting. This'll sting, but you should have come from behind, as Fett would have to turn around and would probably take the punch badly.
BIC: Fett noticed a hesitation in his adversary while he switched to normal optics. That probably meant the young man knew, or suspected, that he was in some way impaired. So, when his target vanished, Fett waited for the whoosh of displaced air that the teleportation caused...and barely had time to bring his arms up to block the punch launched right at him. Though it landed solidly on his beskar gauntlets, it still hurt--a lot--and made him stumble backwards a few steps. As he did, he shot directly forward to where the young man would be as soon as he landed.
OOC: You just punched beskar with your bare hand. Even if it was a solid hit on Fett, that's hard stuff. It'll probably hurt about as much as punching a steel wall, and with that much force behind it, it'll hurt a lot. Fett's also hurt, but since when has that stopped him?

Seeing the fireball coming down Mao quickly discharged his hand and summoned a giant block of ice above him. The fire melted the ice and Mao held out a cup. It caught the resulting water and Mao drank it.

"warm water... tastes weird... but I needed a boost... it'll have to do."

Mao jumped into the air leaving a beam of light behind him in an attempt to slam right into Itachi.

The Jak clone quickly transformed into Light Jak, and used Light Shield to block the mini-nuke. Then, it used Flash-Freeze and ran forward and attacked the frozen Jak for the duration of the freeze.

OOC: Since Flash-Freeze well... Freezes you, there's not much you can do.

Big mistake. In the time it took Mao to drink the water, Itachi was falling and had his clone perform a large Shadow Clone Jutsu. There were about fifteen Itachi in the air, all drawing Kunai. Everyone threw them out at Mao as he jumped up, knowing he would have trouble dodging fifteen well-aimed blades with his linear jump.

To Jak, it seemed that clone Jak was moving at super fast speeds. Jak knew, however, that clone Jak had done light freeze. He quickly pulled out his anti-grav gun, which must have seemed really slow to clone Jak. Jak did this while felling attacks hitting him. He fired as fast as he could, hoping it would be able to affect clone Jak.

OOC: I wouldn't really know if that would affect clone Jak, seeing as he's in flash freeze. It has never been tested before, and probably never will.

IC: Whilst he was attacking Jak, Clone Jak noticed him move for his anti-grav gun. Clone Jak took advantage of the slow-down to rip the gun from Jak's hand and fire it at Jak himself just before the freeze stopped and Clone Jak reverted from Light Jak mode.

OOC: I don't think hitting the beskar is going to hurt Neku. He uses the same attack on armor-plated rhinos and comes down on their spiked horns and thinks nothing of it. I'll make a mention of it though.

BIC:

Neku had used Fresh Line partly as a way to get out of the incoming blaster bolts. Immediately after he activated the pin, he realized his mistake. Damn it! The whole point was to stay AWAY from close-range combat! He came down on Fett hard and had the desired effect of knocking him back, but in the process he got blasted square in the chest by a bolt. And it hurt. Clutching Top Gear, Neku teleported in front of Fett but a couple hundred feet away, further than before, to catch his breath. Wh...what the hell...I need something new...

As a new plan of action, Neku teleported again, using up the last charge on Top Gear. (Luckily, there were other teleport pins, but they had a less number of uses.) He reappeared directly behind Fett and to the left a little, about 175 feet back. Hopefully, with a combination Fett's teleport tracking system (assumably) being offline and stun from the knockback, this could work. Clutching Eyes Full of Light, Neku stared straight at Fett and rose off the ground about a foot as a bright white light started to shine directly on his enemy.

OOC:

"Keep the stylus trained on an enemy to focus light upon them. Inflicts continuous damage and sometimes Attack Break."
Attack Break temporarily lowers attack, but you can probably ignore that unless you want to lower your reaction time a smidge or something, dunno. Anyway, due to this pin, Fett's going to start taking a bit of damage, at a constant rate. In the game, when Neku uses it, the enemy takes moderate amount of damage fairly quickly. It's like 17-17-17-17-17-17-17-17...(great for slowly-advancing rhinos!)
