Okay, you may have seen the movies, but not like this. On August 15, 2008, a new movie for Star Wars will come out, and it is animated, beleive it or not? It is about this young girl who's on a quest to also fight in the Clone Wars, from what I see in the commercial, it seems kinda cool except the animation. I wonder if George Lucas approved the animation! Anyways, this movie comes out August 15, 2008 in a select theatre near you! I think I will go see it on the first day it comes out too see, if it is that good and post it up here or edit it. A hand to you, George Lucas for all the years you have brought to us by bringing us the amusement of all The Star Wars Movies since number 1. =D> =D>

Sounds like a cash-in on the 'Star Wars' franchise.
Just out to make more money.

But that's coming from someone who's never found the 'Star Wars' movies appealing.

It doesn't matter if they are trying to make more money, but George Lucas has brought me joy with his movies, both full of action, love and comedy at the same time. I think the last one that was made was the funniest especially R2-D2, but this is only my opinion.

Star Wars is the worst thing I've ever seen and I've managed to stay away from it my whole life. Lucky me.

Exactly, Andrey. I've you saw the movies then yes, I would understand your opinion. And the Star Wars franchise has been going pretty well, George Lucas is the best film maker other than the horror movie directors, like the King Person. And, dude, face it. He's racking in cash with the movie and the series. So, they aren't that bad. They've been good since the late 80's and through the 90's and into the 2000's. So most people around the world, like these movies. And I think they will like an animated one and a series. Except, that if they make a series, they have to make it like, action packed and not put it on Cartoon Network. An applause to you, Andrey. For being a Star Wars critic. =D>

Until you've seen Chewbacca kick serious ass with his Wookie abilities, you have no right to judge Star Wars.

I could not have said this any better myself, and this is coming from someone who loves the Star Wars franchise. This looks horrible.

If I'm not mistaken, Lucas wants the series put on something like TNT, not a kids channel, so he can make it more violent then Cartoon Network would allow.

I like Star Wars, so I'll end up seeing it. But I don't want it, I want Episodes 7, 8, and 9 much, much more. Much more. Bring back Mark Hamill, even though I know he doesn't make movies anymore. Stupid corvette accident.

Forgot to voice my opinion on this..
I liked the movies, and it should stay that, Movies and games, not movies, games and animated series
Honestly, the animation will pwn the rep

@Arthenon
Lucas said that the animated series would be on both TNT and Cartoon Network

@Andrey
We're still waiting for you to tell us why you hate Star Wars.

Oh, I didn't realize. I thought this was the internets where you could quietly disappear after making some unexpected comment.

And it's because of lightsabers. They're swords made out of laser beams.

Also, "A long time ago in a galaxy far far away" is an oxymoron when you consider the movie's subject matter.

I like a tiny bit of realism in my movies, at the very least. Star Wars always crossed the line TBH.

You ever think maybe the civilization of mankind decayed over time, after the Star Wars story, bringing an end to intelligent races and robots and stuff like that, and we are now starting to rebuild our civilization? Or maybe its a story being told in the future? We never really figured out WHO the narrator of Star Wars is. There is a tiny bit of realism in EVERYTHING. Notice how there are Humans in Star Wars? Oh look at that, Humans in real life too.
