First off, welcome to Runevillage! You've arrived at one of the friendliest forums around. Some information you may want to know:

Moderators: These are the people who go around the forums and lock topics/make announcements or stickies. If you need any assistance, please do not be afraid to ask for it. (I'm considered slightly friendly at least...you can PM me if you want

)

Spamming: Although it is incredibly popular on other sites, please do not spam on our forums. It leads to people flaming you and warnings/post count removed happening.

Flaming: Constructive crticism of users is fine, but please do not blatantly call someone an idiot or stupid, or cuss them out. Cussing is not allowed on our forums. Warnings will be given for such things.

Profiles: Please read the Profile Use section in the Forum Rules for further information on size and dimension limits in your profile. If you are unsure how to make/upload a signature or avatar, visit this topic.

Why all these rules? To keep the friendly village spirit going. As long as you handle yourself responsibly here, you can become popular or well known. Please read the rules to stay on the happy side of the mods and admins

Want to chat with other RuneVillagers while playing RuneScape? All Villagers are welcome to join our RuneScape Clan Chat channel, "RV Lounge". Just remember these few simple rules as you talk with other members of RV.

3. DO NOT evade a kick or ban from Rv Lounge by using an alternate account.
4. The language of Rv Lounge is English. While the occasional "Bonjour" or "Auf Wiedersehen" are fine, an entire non-English conversation is not. If you want to speak to a friend in an alternate language, please do so through private messaging rather than the Clan Chat.
5. If you have a problem with a particular user or one of RV Lounge's moderators, please bring it to the attention of the Rv Lounge Manager or an Administrator rather than voicing your concerns within the Clan Chat.
6. The spirit of RuneVillage should be represented within the Clan Chat. Please keep the Village Values in mind while in the Clan Chat.

Breaking any of these rules will result in a verbal warning and/or a kick (one hour ban) from the Clan Chat. Continued abuse will result in step ups and temporary/permanent bans. Also keep in mind that you can and will be reported and/or muted for breaking RuneScape rules within the Clan Chat.

Any ranked user in RV Lounge has the ability to kick, and being kicked out of the channel automatically includes a one-hour ban from RV Lounge. For reference, here are how the ranks are designated:

Rv Lounge Ranks:

(Clan Chat Leader) - Rv Lounge (Account)

(Captain) - All Admins + RVL Manager

(Lieutenant) - Clan Chat Moderators
