[RP] Battlefield IX: The Game

OOC: Hmm, that's pretty fast. Though I assume you have seen a lightsaber duel?
Also, on the 27th Brawl will finally be released in my country, so expect my activity to slow down a bit at that point.

IC: Using the very limited time the blue-haired man needed to prepare and execute his attack, Vader pointed his free arm downward and jumped, performing a Force Push at the ground beneath and slightly in front of him at the same time, causing him to jump back a few meters barely in time to miss the attack, but also nearly slipping on the icy floor.

OOC: Just wondering, is he still able to keep his force choke on Bob during that? Bob's technically not dead yet, but on death's doorstep.

OOC: He's using one hand for the Force Push on the ground and keeps the other focussed on Bob. It's more of a distance jump than in height, really

BIC: Ike seeing Vader launch himself into the air immediately switched his attack. Instead of leaping into the air Ike drew his Silver bow and fired 3 shots. 1 directly at Vader at the peak of the launch and 2 in the path Vader was heading towards.

Ragnell fell into the ground in front of Ike and he grabbed it from the ice. He prepared to leap from the broken ice so that as Vader reached the ground he could attack him before he got his footing back.

OOC: I know I'm just barely past my 4-day limit now, but if it's okay with Stip, I'd like to reserve the right to die after I can contact Pyro. Every time I see him on MSN he's apparently sleeping. o_O

Stip still gets the kill for Bob though, that won't change.

OOC:

Background information: In Mainframe, where Bob is from, if Bob LOSES the game and no one is left from Mainframe inside the game cube, the game automatically ends. In addition, that entire area of Mainframe where the cube was is reduced to rubble, and everyone inside it turned to...slugs, more or less. That's why Bob has to win the game at all costs. Luckily, Hex is from mainframe, so the Game won't end automatically upon Bob's death. :wink:

BIC:

Bob was flat on his face on the icy ground. He didn't know how it was happening, but the man in black several meters away...was choking him to death. Bob rolled over onto his back, gasping for breath but getting none. It was at that point he saw a flash of red in the sky--Hexadecimal, flying up above, watching the scenery unfold below. Hex...Hex is here. That means...even if I lose...Mainframe can be spared. The battle is now...between two Users...as strange as that seems. "Glitch...when this is...all over, go find Enzo," Bob said, flashing transparently as the rest of his life drained away. "You can still...do Mainframe...a lot of good..."

With the sound of a half-cough, half-gasp, Bob's body turned 90% transparent--and stayed that way.

OOC: He's dead. Best of luck to you both.

Noticing the blue-skinned man had finally given up the struggle, Vader moved his body if front of the two arrows Ike had shot to where he was going to land, and reached for his lightsaber while Ike prepared to fire the third one into his path, and used the weapon to slice the incoming arrow in half.

Just before landing on the ground again, he swung his lightsaber at the blue-haired man who was waiting to attack him.

OOC: Yes, Vader is fast enough to deflect an incoming arrow, since an arrow is more or less as fast as a blaster bolt.

OOC: unfortunately you missed the part where when you landed Ike was following up with a melee attack. I'm not sure how the judgement works with this.

As the light saber came at Ike he quickly blocked it with his own sword and let the momentum of his body and speed carry him into vader. (OOC: since you haven't landed yet but were near it I suppose this means Ike would be hitting your lower body.)

Continuing to use the momentum Ike spun around and slashes his sword at Vader as he flipped in the air.

OOC: because of the ice Ike is going to keep moving for a short distance after the attack.

Vader had been hit by Ike himself, and while he began to spin in midair, he noticed the man swinging his sword at him. Vader quickly repositioned his lightsaber to deflect the incoming strike, and fell on the ground on his back. "Impressive." Vader said, standing up on his feet again. "But not good enough."

Vader reached his free arm at Ike again, and began to focus on using a more powerful version of Force Choke than he had used up to now, while he began to slowly walk to the east.

Ike took his bow out... his vision was getting blurry... the medallion... it felt heavy... this man... was he getting angry? Ike didn't have a lot of time to think... if this man became enraged then if Ike died and Vader found a way out of here wherever he went was doomed... Ike had to keep the spirit locked away... he had to be the one to win... He fumbled around with his bow, he pulled the string back and his hands shook horribly as he fought the choke hold. Finally he did the only thing he could do to pull off a straight shot. He stopped resisting. The blur of vader became sharp. His hands became steady. His entire body loosened as death began to touch him. He took this split second to fire an arrow straight at Vader's arm.

OOC: this next bit is assuming your next action stopped the choke hold.

BIC: Ike stood up and panted. Ragnell lit with a red flame as he slammed it hard into the ground. A large circle of heat shot from Ike breaking the nearby ice up and creating a sort of arena. Ike took a drink from his vulnerary to make up for the damage he took from the attack. He finished it up and threw it to the side.

"Fight me like a man you coward... are these cheap tricks all you can do? Fight me like a real warrior!" Ike held his sword, Ragnell, firmly in both of his hands. There was no point in using distance attacks. They weren't getting anywhere. Ike wanted results... and fast.

"Use that trick of yours to remove the ice i've broken... then come at me... I'm waiting for you."

OOC: Just to point out, Vader could probably take that arrow in his hand and still maintain the choke hold. His hand is mechanical, after all. No pain.

OOC: doesn't change the fact that it would rip through his entire arm. Now stop posting in here you don't belong here. You're not a part of this RP anymore.

I don't really have any other RP to post in. All the other RPs I'm in died. Plus, I'd like to think I have a decent enough knowledge of Star Wars to contribute information.
An example: Rip through his arm? What the heck are you using? He can stop blaster bolts with no harm, so I don't think an arrow is going to do anything (unless it's another thing blessed by some random deity).

OOC: would you stop comparing a blaster bolt to an high caliber projectile!? physical projectiles and energy bolts are two completely different things. This shot has enough power to hit him even if he force pushes it. And yes I've seen some of the things he's pushed around. there isn't a lot of surface area to an incoming arrow so it would take a while to stop it. And this thing is moving fast so it wouldn't be effected by the time it hit him. TEARING HIS ARM TO PIECES. HIS ARM WHICH IS CONNECTED TO NERVES. NERVES THAT MAKE VADER FEEL PAIN. PAIN THAT MAKES VADER LOSE CONCENTRATION.

Need I say more?

And Tahu, Vader absorbs the blaster bolt's energy, and since arrows aren't made of pure energy...yeah, you get the point.

"Very well, it appears you are much more a match for me than the other one that stood in my way. I'll grant your request, though still, you will not make it out of here alive."

Suddenly, the shards of ice began to fly upwards, and landed at the edges of the now once again grassy area, and Vader began to walk towards the site.

"However, one misstep and I will crush you."

While I appreciate your willingness to help, Tahu (and everyone else), it's obvious that Stip and Pyro both know a heck of a lot about their characters. Thus, I'd like them to work out their battles alone, please. They're capable on their own of providing canon for each decision. ^_^
