As soon as the boy with the key refused Lich's offer, he began to laugh. "You will regret that. Sleepra!" Lich forced energy out at Fighter. "Fall asleep... forget your cares... I can promise you... you will never wake up."

Fighter felt a sudden wave a fatigue cover him. Suddenly, he wanted to do nothing but sleep. "I...I.." he muttered, and then fell to the ground, asleep.

BIC: "Um..." Looking at his prone ally, Link felt that they would need a new plan. Normally, he defended people who could actually move. At least there was only one enemy.

Heisitating barely a moment, Lich swept his hand through the air, pointed at the legs of his foes. After a full sweep, he shouted "Blizzara!" with the intention of freezing each and everyone of them to the ground, so he could escape with Fighter. After all, he had no quarrel with the rest of them. "I advise you to stop this fight before it starts."

OOC: I'll give everyone a chance to post here.

I took Fighter out so I wouldn't have to RP two people at a time. Don't try to wake him.

Jak knew that the wave had to be bad. Then he felt his legs get frozen to the ground. Pulling out his red gun's second mod, Jak charged up a blast, and sent it into the ground, shattering the ice around his legs. Then Jak switched to his blaster, aimed at Lich, and fired.

OOC: I'll counter attacks as they come I sp'ose.

IC: Lich focused and muttered "Stop".

Time seemed to freeze, and Lich simply sidestepped the blaster shot(s), and took this time to charge Thundara. When he unleashed it at Jak, time started again.

OOC: Thundara will send several bolts of lightning down apon you.

EDIT: Edited Lich's powers into my introduction post with him, on page 9.

Before the Blizzara reached him, Sora focussed, and a transparent, glass-like shield appeared around him. When the spell touched the shield, it shattered, sending the same spell back at Lich. Sora then proceeded to dash in to try and strike the fiend with his keyblade. "Sorry, but I don't think so."

As the ice swept over Lich, he resisted it, and nothing happened.

The boy with the key was charging, so Lich let him come close, and then, when he struck, grabbed his keyblade, and held it. Then, he rose his other hand, his right hand, and clawed down at Sora.

Jak jump out of the way of some lightning bolts as they came down, wondering how Lich had moved so fast. Perhaps he stopped time, thought Jak. Jak bent over, focusing, and then he stood up quickly and clapped. Jak turned into a glowing being, as time slowed down. Jak pulled out his blaster now, and fired at Lich. Unless he was moving normally in the slowed time, the shots would hit.

BIC: As ice formed around Link's legs, he simply nodded to Midna. Nodding back, she turned him into a wolf, leaving his hind legs free to slide out of the ice (they're smaller than Link's normal legs, as far as I can tell). As Link slowly advanced toward the enemy, Midna's hair turned into a large hand.

The Arbiter was quite startled when ice began to form around his legs. After staring at the ice for a second, he picked up one hoof, shattering the ice around it. He then picked up the other hoof, shattering the ice around it. Pulling out his energy sword, he rushed at Lich, bringing his sword back for a lunge, while trying to grab its neck with his other hand.

Sora let go of the keyblade to do a fast backflip, and the weapon vanished from Lich's hand, to reappear in Sora's again. "Graviga!" Sora yelled, as a black blob appeared around Lich, and would massively increase the gravity within it.

OOC: Rat, if you are implying Lich gets hit with the shots if he's not speeding up time for himself, it's considered an auto-hit.

Lich felt his movements slow (Graviga) and before he could see them, was hit with Blaster shots. They did not do much, but the rest of the group was advancing. The kid in green had turned into... a wolf? with some impy thing on his back. The goblin was advancing, some sort of a glowing sword in hand. To keep them off him, Lich would have to get in a strong blow. So he focused his energy and shouted "Flare!" Intense light and heat shot out.

OOC: Just gotta say, Arbiter: I'd say this would have some signifigant knockback, stopping your charge and pretty much destroying your energy shield, but it regens with time as it always does.

OOC: Sorry, I wasn't implying an auto-hit. The slow time actually only lasts about 10 seconds. And, Jak runs out of Light eco by using that power, and other Light Jak powers.

BIC: Jak watched as the blaster shots hit. They didn't seem to do much. Then They all got hit by a blast. It knocked Jak back about 2 yards, and blinded him for a little while, all while feeling a burning on his skin.

OOC: Sorry if I wasn't clear, but Flare affects all of you. I just told SM that he couldn't just run through it, or act like his shields just stopped it. Edit your post Rat. ^_^;

EDIT: According to Stip, it'll take away two because it's a powerful spell.
BIC: Unable to dodge the wall of flame, Link got knocked back a bit, but quickly tumbled to his feet. Running forward again, Link got in range as Midna trapped the enemy in the dark energy field.
OOC: Link's still out of melee range, and he lunges next post.

OOC: It's not quite fire, it's more like very hot sunlight in terms of describing it. Imagine it as being like an ant under a magnifying glass on a sunny day. So yeah, it'll cost at least 1.5 to two hearts, it is one of the most powerful Black Magic spells in Final Fantasy after all :-s

IC: All Sora could do to defend himself was hold his Keyblade in front of him, and that didn't do too good.

"Argh!" Sora yelled, and nasty burns began to appear on his arms. "AEROGA!" Sora raised his keyblade into the air, and whirlwinds of air began to surround him and his allies, reducing the effects of the spell to be slightly more bearable. He then proceeded to dash at Lich again, with the tip of the Keyblade glowing as he struck at him, a circle of sparks surrounding him (OOC: the Explosion finisher of KH2)

OOC: I'll wait for Tahu to edit his post before responding to him. By the Tahu, don't bother arguing that 'It can't do that much damage' or anything like that, because, if anything, we're letting you off easy. In my opinion 1.5 hearts is definatley not enough for a full frontol hit from flare...

In the meantime...

IC: Lich saw the boy with the key running at him again. "Shields of wind, reflecting barriers, gravity bending... You are powerful, boy. But..." At that point, Sora had reached Lich, and Lich reached out his arms, grabbing the key with one arm, the boy with the other.

Sudden, the boy released some sort of energy which rattled and damaged Lich, but he refused to let go. When it was over, Lich roared and threw Sora off to the side.

Jak stood up. The blast had hurt him a little. The fall had twisted his ankle. Jak did a crouch as best he could, then jumped up, aiming his head back. A white light fell on him, and healed his ankle. When it was finished, Jak felt he only had enough Light Eco in him for two more uses, but a full amount of uses for Dark Eco powers. Jak pulled out his second peacemaker mod, which could lower gravity around an enemy, and ran up near Lich and fired, hoping for it to effect him.

OOC: This would probably effect him, but that is your choosing, Stip. In the game it effects enemies and cars, but not citizens or allies.

OOC: I'll edit it to two hearts, but that's it. Rarely does Link take over half a heart, and mostly that's one heart. Even Ganondorf only takes a heart per hit, and he's basically a god. That's pretty much the only thing I need to change; no matter the damage, as long as it's not lethal Link just bounces right up.
Oh, and with all the crap flying around, Link's going to wait another post before lunging.
BIC: Unable to find an opening with all the stuff that his allies were doing, Link walked slowly to the side, waiting for an opening.
