A seriously depressing movie for the 10+ age group.

I used to enjoy Disney (probably because i was that age at one time,) but it seems they have reached out to the "younger" side of things with this movie. It seems that Pixar and that other one..? - name escapes me - are the ones to watch for humorous animated films (Dreamwork) - AHA!

Has anyone gone to watch it? Comments and thoughts?

I thought it started well - but about half way it just went like...ugh. Have you ever sat watching a TV at home, and thinking - "Wow, this really is crap..."

Its just a shame i had to pay to watch it - Boring stuff.

I dislike Disney in almost every aspect these days, except for the aspect of them that makes Pirates of the Caribbean.

Most of their animated films these days aren't that funny.

Amen to that. Going for pretty pictures and slick animation is no substitute for a good story line, never will be.

Maybe it has something to do with the older films being based on established stories that made them more enjoyable?

For whatever reasons, my friends wanted to see this, I said no, as I wasn't going to waste my time, and we went to see American Gangster (that was good) and the two that went to Enchanted were angry for the wasted money and time.

I always like the older disney films. Hell, I'll sit down and watch Toy Story any day. Those were good films, but I think around the time Finding Nemo came out was the downfall for Disney Pixar.

To be honest I think Finding Nemo was actually pretty decent for the little kids group. I was in 4th grade when it came out, and I kinda liked it when they showed it in class.

But I agree, almost everything these days that they release is crap. Almost.

Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

Oh come on, it wasn't that bad. I liked the choreography on the real-life music number, especially those grooms and those blue guys that did seven or eight cartwheels and flips in place at the same time.

I also think Patrick Dempsey did a good job during that scene. His facial expressions were priceless, especially at the part with the grooms and brides where he's going "Where the heck did all these people come from?"

You may not have liked the story, but the actors did their jobs very well. Amy Adams portrayed all the quirks of a Disney cartoon character, and was nominated for two awards in it for Best Actress already.

Pirates of the Caribbean was done by Disney for those who loved the trilogy. I loved it

What is wrong with Disney these days? Why do they constantly spew out overrated movies with terrible actors, then completely overpublicise any mediocre ones they find (coughashleytisdalecough)? Then they make things that supposedly are anchored towards the "older crowd" but miss the mark completely (that annoying movie with the black kid from HSM with the jumproping), not to mention terrible acting and special effects (Twitches, and whatever that STUPID new mini-show about the two groups of girls and guys at a middle school). Seriously. I'm in Drama Class and it makes me want to cry when I watch those shows.

Disney is so bad, putting Dane Cook on one of their shows would actually make it better.
