Death Note (Anime)

Before we get started... please don't spoil it for me... I have'nt
watched the entire series yet! Please don't ruin it for me... thanks!

Has anyone seen this anime? I enjoyed it a lot!

I actually heard it was on YouTube before I knew
that it was airing in the U.S. on Cartoon Network.

For those of you who *have'nt* seen it, here's a
clip of part of the first episode. There are a lot
of twists and turns in the plot... If you'd like me to
explain it before watching this I'd be glad to. Skip
to the 1:20 mark or so to pass the introduction.

it's one of the most well done mystery anime I've seen in forever
I suggest you don't watch the dub one

I have watched it when it is on Adult Swim but thats it. From what I have seen it was pretty good.

Such an amazing series, However, I've only seen the episodes on adult swim. Didn't pay much attention until the last few. Great series.

I've read the entire manga before the anime finished in Japan, but still saw some of the anime subbed, and episode 1 of the dub. I don't know what to say about the dub. It actually, doesn't seem to translate enough to be honest. I mean if the dub is directed at like, adult swim viewers, how are they going to know what the Shinigami Realm is? Either way though, I prefer Light's voice in Japanese, but that might be because that's the one I heard first. I must say he did sound more evil in that version though. No matter how you watch or read it though, Death Notes good. Until the second arc at least. Then it's ok. The ending depends on your views. I personally was dissapointed cause what I wanted didn't happen.

It's on my list to watch =P. I bought the first volume of the manga though and I thought that it was very good. Seems like a really interesting anime
