I have a date with this Girl sunday to the movies and I don't know hardly anything about her
I am going to see her today Should I spend this time getting to know her and ask questions?

Or should I do something different?

Doing that would be great, but don't act too nosy. That usually repels people.

I did... maybe 2 years ago.
But now I just come on RV to post, chat with friends and work on any 'behind-the-scene' stuff that I can get my hands on.

I have a problem

I am going into the army in like a month and I apllied for a job at this store like 6 months ago and they finally called and my dad said If I don't get the job I am grounded intell the day I leave for the army.

I want to spend my last month as a civilian with my friends not working but it looks like I have to get that job or I can't hang out with my friends at all.

what should I do?

hmm... What are the hours?

Is it only a part-time job? or is it full time?

If its full time you could try to negotiate your hours, or see if they will employ you part time or something =\

That way you have a job, and you can hang out with friends in your free time.

If you need the job, and the money is important, I'm sure you could find time with friends. If its not important for the money, and your dad just wants you to work, you might have some reason in talking to him about it and busting out logic...

Im the oposite of you, im so skinny and smaller (not so much smaller) than most people my age that people think im anorexic, yet im not and I know I eat more than around 1/4-1/2 of those people.

If you don't like your body, how can you expect other people to? You may think you're unattractive, but if a guy really likes you he'll see what matters; what is on the inside.

Join some clubs around you, take up a hobby, or just arrange to go out more, and I'm sure you'll find someone.

I'm not 100% on this (IANAL) but I believe you would have to be 18 to handle all the legal issues (entering into a contract for one). It is possible to be emancipated, but that is rarely granted unless there are extreme circumstances (evidence of abuse or parents committed a crime, etc)

With parents permission, almost certainly.

The majority of restrictions will be if you are the one dealing with the paperwork or are trying to move out against the wishes of your legal guardians. So long as you have your parents support you should be able to cut through all that anyway, and seeing as you have a legal adult to deal with any other formalities, I can't see why not.

It might be worth doing some more searching to see if there is a local legal firm that gives free legal advice, but I don't think this is a big enough problem to go any further than that with. I really can't see any major problems arrising.

well this girl doesn't have a job yet because she is moving from acrossed the state to come live with me and well that could hurt our chances of getting a place and from what I understand is a 17 year old can sign a contract with a legal gaurdian as a witness.
