After trying to decide if to watch the animes, but wait every week for a new episode, or if to read the manga that is infront of the episodes.
I wondered, what does everyone prefer?

In my view, there are pros and cons on both, but what's yours?

I personally prefer anime (never even read manga actually :P)
Anime is imo more lively, manga illustrations cant keep up (if there are even any O_o)

I think anime is better becuase its easier to follow,
each page is flooded with text. Manga is decent though, better than a lot of books.

I'd say anime. Battles and fighting are ten times better there. But if you are those impatient sort and dislike filler, go for manga.

Generally, I watch/read both, get the best of both worlds. XD

I go through manga too fast so anime :D! I read too fast and always forget to savor the story plot :P. Plus manga costs money :(. ( I can't read it online, takes too long to load so I buy all mine.)

Anime, fewer brain muscles to use.

However in some of my mind-imes, it's way more epic.

Well I usually watch the anime, then if I like it, I go into the manga since the manga is usually farther ahead.

I don't care enough about the overrated animes like Naruto or Bleach so I just watch them in anime form.
And many other really good anime aren't adapations of manga, at least from what I've seen.

Hm, depends on the series really...but most of the time I do both.

For Naruto, I only read the manga at the moment, by once shipuuden gets to the better part, perhaps I'll watch.

Bleach I do both.

and for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya I really prefer the anime.

I prefer Manga. It contains the original story and not the crap they did to it in the anime. I can't stand the Fuzzy Bunny they did to Yu-Gi-Oh, THEY GOT RID OF A WHOLE SEASON! AND ADDED A WHOLE RANDOM SEASON!

Yes, anime is a lot more lively, in return, they might mess up the story badly. <_<

Naruto Manga > Naruto Anime

I usually find the manga of anything to be better than the anime, because the anime usually draws things out and adds a lot of 'filler' to keep itself behind the manga.

The usually find manga, like I said, to be better than anime in most cases, but it has its drawbacks. Very slow paced, and less action.

So really, I usually like manga better overall, but the anime has its good qualities. Seeing the action scenes of your favorite manga animated is always nice.

The two are both good. I read manga, and watch anime. Usually I find the anime stops and the manga picks up and continues the story line (Inuyasha, Fruits Basket, etc.) But with anime you can hear the emotion in the characters voice and the scenery noise [rain, kids laughing, etc.] which makes it more realistic than manga. I'm torn between the two. :|

The only anime I watch is Lucky Star and Bleach.
And I read about 30 different mangas so...
Manga > Anime,

Seeing as my school library has a hearty stock of manga I usually read it then watch the parts that I can't get a hold of, or I like to do both, but manga is preferred because it is almost always different from the anime.
