BIC: The demon glanced at the water, and it instantly turned to steam. "Idiot. It's a creature of heat, you think some water will kill it? THIS is how you kill a demon-I think." As his crossbow increased luminescence, he aimed it carefully at the demon. As the glow turned bright white, he muttered the last word of the incantation, and the light shrank into a small, burning white bolt of pure holy energy. Klinkin let the bolt fly, hoping his aim was true. It was, and the bolt hit the demon square in the chest. Instead of light suffusing the demon, however, the bolt just stuck there, glowing. "OUCH! WHO DARES ATTACK ME, KING OF DEMONS?" "Well, that worked just about as well as I expected it to," said Klinkin, watching the demon fail to notice the bolt was still embedded within him.

"Thank you for bringing my creature into its second form, it saves me the trouble for having to do so." Shadow said, completely ignoring Klinkin's comments. The cloud of steam began to reform, and entered the demon's body through the creature's nose. From there, the steam tracked all the way to its lungs, where it sent a signal hearable only by its master Shadow. "This is what years of Life training reward you with." Shadow spoke, as the steam turned into solid spikes of ice.

OCC: Shadow didn’t kill anyone directly. What killed Albert’s best friend was her own attempt to escape, but she could not survive teleportation in her deformed state.

BIC: Albert came around until his back was to the sun, giving him a clear view of the situation. It didn’t look good. Without help, the two humans would certainly be in for a tough battle, one that they might not win. Albert dived, firing an arrow directly at the demon.

"Well, this might work. Might." The ice was going to melt inside the demon's lungs, so maybe it would drown. Interesting way to kill a demon... However, Klinkin was still holding out hope that the holy bolt would help. However, just to be on the safe side, he started charging up another one.

While this wild demon-slaying debate was happening Illidan had taken the boat to Port Sarim and was on his way to Al Kharid..

As he dived at the demon, Albert was devising a quick plan. His first arrow struck the demon, but it hadn’t done any real damage. Maybe if it got confused, he could slip in behind it and attack it with his swords. But he’d have to get someone to attract its attention.
He noticed that one of the humans appeared to have a set of wings, and the other was welding a staff that Albert couldn’t recognize.
Quickly planning, he shot an arrow-and-air-blast combination an inch to the left of the winged human’s left ear. The winged human heard the arrow, and launched himself forward and to the right, avoiding the projectile. The arrow flew past and hit the demon dead on, doing a decent amount of damage. Meanwhile, the demon had turned its attention to the winged human, giving Albert a clear path to slip behind the demon unobserved.

"I'm not ethereal!" Klinkin shouted at the flying person. "But a distraction right now would be nice." Klinkin also observed the wound healing with blinding speed. However, the would from his faintly glowing bolt had not. That was a good sign; it was working as it should.

BIC: Albert heard someone yell something, but he didn’t catch what they said. He noted that the wound from his arrow had quickly healed.
As he flew past, Albert pulled out both his swords and slashed at the being. It turned, trying to impale him with one of its claws, but only managed to stick its claws into a tree. Albert started climb again, preparing for his next attack. The demon, meanwhile, pulled the tree up by its roots and threw it at Klinkin and Shadow.

Ducking the large projectile, Klinkin took this chance to hit the demon in the eye with his next bolt. Though the bolt only partially penetrated the tough skin, it still hurt the demon enough to notice. However, all it did in retaliation was to start shooting streams of fire everywhere. Avoiding said attacks, Klinkin started charging his third, and hopefully final, bolt.

Shadow had arisen a wall of stone around himself to avoid being harmed by the massive flames, and decided this would be the time to use "it."

Shadow let his wall down again, and smiled, ordering his platform to land. "To become one with the shadows..." he spoke softly, as his body turned a pitch black, and flattened in a 2-dimensional shape on the floor. The shadow began to move, until it was next to a vertical piece of rock, where Shadow's body outline appeared in it. From the wall, the sentence "Sombra convoca: Maldición del hielo divino" was heard, and the very water within the air began to fuse together into seven enormous spikes of ice, so cold that they were immune to heat. "Infilzare." Shadow spoke, and all of the spikes came crashing down to the demon.

Albert finished his turn and prepared to dive at the demon again. He noticed that the winged human had avoided the tree and hit the demon with another bolt. It responded by launching streams of fire wildly. He accelerated downward, avoiding the fire easily. He noticed the huge spikes of ice, calculated their trajectory, and found that they would hit the demon long before Albert did. Hopefully, the ice wouldn’t stop Albert’s attack.

The demon looked up just in time to notice the spikes. Three caused great gashes that started to heal immediately, two missed the demon, and the last two the demon caught. However, that was the distraction Klinkin needed. While the demon turned to throw the spike of ice at a Shadow on the wall, Klinkin took aim and fired. It hit true, and landed square between the shoulder blades of the demon. Instantly, three lines of pure white energy sprang, inscribing a triangle on the demon. As the demon fell over, the triangle expanded, trapping it to the ground.

Albert saw the third bolt hit, causing a triangle of light to appear, knocking the demon to the ground. He figured that it wouldn’t last forever, but it did give them a few seconds. He pulled up and braked to a stop, landing near the two humans. “Hi, I'm Albert, last of the Aviantese.” he said.

"Klinkin the Inventor. Now don't you think you should be trying to kill it before it decides to get up?" To emphasize his point, Klinkin show a couple of bolts at the demon. The glowing triangle was suppressing its rapid healing, but only for a time.

The spikes became water again, and went back into the air to go down for another strike, aiming at the place where the demon's heart should be. As the spikes shot down, Shadow's form emerged from the wall, and regained its three dimensional shape once more. "You may call me Shadow." He spoke to the man named Albert.

“Bind” Albert yelled, launching the spell strait at the ice spikes. The spell successfully suspended them in the air “One second please.” he said, walking over to the demon. Albert pulled one of his swords and a vial out of his backpack and quickly cut the demon’s arm with his sword, catching some of the demon’s tar-like blood in the vial. He quickly jumped back as the spikes of ice came lose and blasted into the demon.
“What do you need some of its blood for?” Shadow inquired. “It had almost no clue how to fight, making me think that it was some sort of clone. This blood sample can be tested to tell for sure whether it was a clone or not.” Albert replied.

“Well, unless I’m mistaken, this clone was trying to keep us busy so we couldn’t stop the real demon. We should try to stop the real one.” Albert said, launching himself into the air.

"Well, don't you think it would be best to get rid of this one first?" Klinkin yelled after the flying person. "Sheesh. Fine, I'll kill the demon." Klinkin walked up to the demon's head and muttered an incantation. His sword glowing, he rammed it into the demon's brain, at least paralyzing it and hopefully killing it. With that, Klinkin flew after Albert.
