Amazing Work. After never really getting much with 14 Kill Count I stopped doing it for a while. Did it today with System/Titeballa46 and get a Guthan Spear. I'm kind of liking the number 14 now.

And your right about the Runes.

Disregarding the Barrow Drops and looking at just the Runes from the chest, (using the average street price) those Runes alone are worth in excess of 75 million.

I'm going to start going to barrows again. My levals have improved and I hope my luck will stop being dry.

Also what KC would you reccomend for recouping the deaths/minds you use.

Time for me to get back to it as well. I am thinking in February I will spend some time there. See if I can get in a few hundred runs.

Well recently i have been getting depressed about barrows, ive done over 150 runs with only 3 items(1 of them was an ahrims staff), 130 of those runs with 14 kc. Gos to show luck is a neccesity at barrows or kq, even dag kings luck helps.

Don’t get discouraged. If you enjoy Barrows, stay with it. I know sometimes it gets a little disheartening, especially when you go so long between decent drops. Another way to approach it is to look at the runes. Every 33.4K Chaos is basically 5 Mil., or 150 gp per Chaos.

Bloods sell pretty easy at 550 per so a standard drop of 35-40 nets you about 20k.

I have 26k bloods and I that’s after giving almost 8000 to the RVBB2. That’s about 15 mil in blood runes, of course I wont sell them, I will use them someday when I seriously start training Mage. But you get the idea. There’s a lot of money in Barrows and not just in the Brother Drops.

It’s just that we all love those Brother Drops, it’s like hitting the lotto.

When are we going to the barrows again?...It has been a while

I have always loved barrows ever since i was a low lvl 80 when they first came out. Day one got a brassard and flail, sold both for a total of 15m+ HA! After those 2 drops though, I had the biggest dry spell (200+ trips) with nothing but runes. This wasn't quite cutting it for me in the gp area so I quit barrows for the longest time, only going when i got bored. Lately however, I have been back and better then ever. A friend of mine showed me the PERFECT way to do it. Out of 100 or so trips, I've used a total of 11 doses of prayer pots . Here's my set-up:



Keep in mind, I am 121 combat with some decent stats. This may not be the way to go if you have <80 defence. After every run, I do teleport to my house, charge my prayer, repair what barrows I can from gp I get from chest, and tele back to Canafis. As I'm sitting pretty on 6k super energy pots, I make it from hill #1 to hill #1 every 15-ish minutes. Every trip, I start with Dharok, head over to Karil, Ahrim, Verac, Torag, and finish with Guthan. The only time I use a prayer pot is when I meet Dharok or Karil before I can get to the chest as they are the only one's who can K.O. me on monkfish. When I get them at the chest, I don't pot my prayer as there is always the hiding spot by the two torches stuck in the ground which I can hide from them and eat up.
