It's not like I want to be a professional pker or something, I just go on this acc when I get bored on main, but I plan getting like 80+ str, 60-70atk, 82 or 85 mage and 70 range. I have 20 def for mystic when I turn p2p

reasons:
never get round numbers
57 str because its unranked
higher def than attk
higher hits than anything, because its the most useful while being the most overlooked. often will make the difference in box stakes.

Thanks water ;). Why should I never get rounded numbers? More hits?

And When you say never stake veracs does that mean never stake a verac noob or never use veracs? What me and my friend normally do is switch the helmet off, as this prevents the effect of any barrows and the helmet is overall lowest in defence. So for someone who isnt worried about barrows its a good thing but a barrows noob would be scared to take helmet off. Thanks for your advice bot deamon and Sir Joe Dirt :). Your advice sure wont be overlooked by me.

no sir joe, only shield works. helmet DOES work, but first of all, some verac ppl overlook shield cause helm is so common and forget whip. and second, obby shield/rune defender are worse for you because of your low str. the same way with if you use verac, if set effect takes place at the same time, they should hit higher than you because of their str. so just always turn off shield and with low str i wouldnt use verac.

also zxc, you wont get many kills with that low stats, and youd be losing TONS of money if you use mystic without barrage or at least blitz

I was thinking if you had crystal shield and torags, helm off would make more sense. But if you don't have a crystal shield, then definitely just shield off.

i guess...but the thing is, you still wont hit that much with 81 attack. even on full torags-helm+rune defender and whip, 75 75 70 could easily beat you. rune defender is a huge minus for a good def/attk staker

So how do i truly disable a verac/barrows noob.

Gear I was thinking

Torags helmet
Torags plate
Torags legs
Fury ammy (if I cannot affored then no ammy at all)
No rings (Or mabey for a recoil if that even helps :roll:)
Whip
No boots
No capes
No gloves
No shiled

Stats

79 attack
57 strength
82 defence
82+ hits

Rules:

Gear setup as explained up above
No magic
No range
No prayer
No food
No drinks
Movement on (if off I will always keep a rune/dhally just incase scammers use a weapon knock back bug and switch shiled to on)


Are these good rules? I very rarley change my mind with rules when it comes to staking. Im always one to make sure im betting smart not stupid. I used to watch my friend get slaughtered and lose everything he had to stakers because he wouldnt think of what they would do and he would always restake the same person even when he lost every single time.

Ya but there has been this fad going around where people will use this bug that knocks you back and rune hally you until your dead. Im not usually one to take risks ;). But with no shield on it wouldnt really make a diffrence anyways.

Natures spirit gives def exp, looks like you will be more than 20 def or lacking the addy gloves :(

do rings on when possible. believe it or not, recoils better than zerker, and i have both. zerker gives +4 str bonus, which will give at most + 1 or 2 hits in your duel. recoil has 100% chance of hitting them for at least 5-10, which is a decent amount. most stakers have money, so they will use zerk ring, which actually gives them a disadvantage. also, movement off. against tank rangers, pots on if possible. always keep pots on you. buy rune boots, best possible for only 130k. no fury, most people wont debate about ammy. obby cape, its only 230k. if someone has less than 53 agil, just do movement off, if they have more and have decent stats...i guess you could do movement on. anway, just xlog if they rune hally you, they wont hit enough to kill you before you log out. that makes it a draw. ive lost over 20m to x-logging in boxes, so.....

Ok good, I dont want to spend millions and millions for a ring that really doesnt do to much to help me. And recoil has saved my :bunny: plenty of times.

Im just worried about full veracs noobs. Being the expert staker that you are water, can you tell me the best method you find to kill a verac noob. Really once I can kill them I dont have to worry about much else. (I dont mage box and stuff like that so verac noobs are really the only threat.)

Like he said before, shield off. That takes away the set effect and they may forget to bring a whip.

yeh rofl, so many people dont see shield cause most people do helm. but believe it or not, ive lost more times to dds with verac than whip with verac =\. and, ALWAYS cammy spec, it will help you a lot. if they insist on getting veracs on, tell them to do your rules or they can f off and find someone else to stake. good luck staking. oh, and to get experience, stake in world 18 for a while, world 22 is where youll be finding more experienced pures, and many different range pures, tanks, mage stakers, and pretty much any type of build you could want to stake

If you're going to use a shield, use 3rd aged melee shield, higher stats than dragon and crystal :wink:

Thats water. I didnt know certain worlds had diffrent difficulties/experienced players. Right now I need to start on the "bunny slopes" of dueling before I move up to the Pking/Staking gods like you and Joe and Hiei. If you guys have anything to tell me please contact me, as I would be glad to hear anything on how to make my signature be true.

Im very strict when it comes to staking. If Someone wants it there way then I will sometimes change very minor things but the rules I said earlier (or the rules you and joe should say I should change) is what Im going by. Im only going to get mage/range for life so the only time im going to allow mage/range is when im funning or doing a test run.

the good thing is after you win one against another aggressive staker, "the ball is in your court". meaning that he will succumb to your rules much more often. he will be quick to accept because he wants his money back. plus, i would get about 70 mage, mage boxing is fun, as long as they have under 70 mage. and whats in your sig, i cant see them?
