Well I don't approve of the whole Internet dating thing, but it's not my place to judge.

Well I can't say I ever really knew either of you two very well at all. All things aside, congratulations. I you respect Apple for respecting Jenny's (if I may can refer to you with your real name) wishes to remain incognito. Jenny, don't be ashamed that you have hidden yourself...you haven't. I've read through at least five pages of comments and seen posts of yours before, and I know that, for the most part, you were acting as you always do, just in a more neutral manner.

As I said, I don't really know you Jenny, but I respect you greatly for wanting to protect yourself, and mostly, for not being naive. I've seen countless females join this site (and others) only to see them flamed at, wooed over, hit on, and the like, and it's pretty sickening seeing the amount of sexism, chauvenism, and near misogyny that some people commit towards innocent others.

I really hope that this doesn't change people's view of you and of Apple. I don't feel any differently towards you or Apple (despite not really knowing you anyhow  ) and if anything, perhaps what you did will open some eyes. Naivety and ignorance are the worst things to have when it comes to the Internet.

Although we have not met in person yet, our relationship and what we feel for each other is very real. We are also part of each other's lives outside of Runescape and Runevillage as well. And we've made plans to have Applequest come up here to Canada to meet me and my parents. If all goes well, and we have no doubts in our minds that it will, I plan on moving to Tucson AZ myself after we graduate in a few years. Just have a little faith in us. :)

Thank you for the wonderful post and your wishes, Jabraulter. As Applequest said, we are still the same people in character, I'm just in female form now and we happen to be a couple. I wasn't actually ashamed of having to hide as a male. I am more ashamed of some of the behaviour and reactions females get in this male dominate society. And of course, I am not trying to degrade all male individuals out there. Nor am I trying to make a generalization that all males behave poorly on Runevillage. If that were true, I wouldn't be with Applequest and my identity would have remained hidden still. ;)

Anyway, by all means am I not ashamed of my relationship with Applequest. It is our relationship where only our own opinions matter, not anyone else's. We do plan on physically being with each other but the current circumstances prevent us from doing so.

I had a girl character that I played on occasion on RS - in the early days of noob - whenever I needed fr33 st0ff. :P It worked amazingly well. The beard sometimes drew the wrong type tho.

Ok, call me slow, but I just now read this topic.

First, I would like to say, I think it is great that you found someone... it was the best thing in the whole world when I found Zilla. And, I think it would be cool if you guys did get married.

Second, I think I am the kind of person that is more concerned about the character of the person than if they are male or female. So, since you are still the same person, I see no reason to act differently. (though I do expect you to continue to pump out quest guides).

Lastly, I think it is about time that someone else at the Village have their spouse be on here too.

Wow, you're like a one-man circus... Autographs from the Bearded Lady, $20! o.O

I thought it would sound more tempting when I first thought of it, but I guess not. I must admit, I kinda did the same thing... except I was on way back when you could have hair covering your entire body. Oddly enough I mostly mistaken for Cousin It from the Addams Family. Sadly, all I managed to receive from by-passers was a pair of shears, which at the time went for over 500k.

I'm tempted to agree with you, but I kinda just noticed it a few days ago, so y'know I'd be calling myself slow too.. :P

Anyways, J5 Chow's Apples... (surprisingly enough, I'm surprised someone didnt notice that before and if they did, so be it), whereabouts in Can-Euh-Duh, does you live? :P Someone near my old home town? Northern? (Seeing as Apple said opposite parts of the country) I'm sure somewhere in the 19 pages of this topic it says, but y'know.. I'm cleaning like a little french maid... so I must be off.

Ick, trying to get liquor stains off carpets, sucks.

You should read Applequest's first post, which is the second one after mine. :D You'll find your answer. And it wasn't all so sudden. ;) This was already going on for a few months.

I'm surprised none of you have pointed out the "A" in my signature that I had for a few weeks while I was still a male here at RV, lol.

Thanks, guys :D

I thought that was a sort of thing that you meant for yourself, not as in you love yourself, but like "from a5chow with love" or something.

Mogo that'd be like Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore XD!

I've read this topic a while before A5chow, but I haven't actually posted my congratulations. Glad that you've come out, although it was and still is a bit of a shock.

I just thought you were one of those metrosexual kinda guys, never suspected you were a girl. 8-[
