Well all I remember is that 2 biker gangs hate each other and they fight for the city. Then a guy and a girl end up in prison :?

I know nothing about it but....OMG SPOILER! :O!!!!! lol. Those who are thinking of watching it probably won't like to know what happens at the end, and I'm sure you and I both know how anime fans can be when they get a spoiler! :P

I just bought akira on vhs at the london expo in october. I also got an akira poster which Cam Clarke (eng dub voice) signed, since he was at the expo on the saturday :)

oh, i dont know. I guess. But like a lot of "classic" things I don't really "get it" a lot of the time. A lot of it was just beyond me when I watched the movie. Or maybe it was that I was playing rs at the same time :-s

as for gruesome.. well.... i mean if you're used to watchin things like fruit basket then to put it in one word, yes.
