I definitely agree... and I would like to add something that our good President Lincoln once said:

"Let every American, every lover of liberty, ever well-wisher to his posterity, swear by the blood of the Revolution never to violate in the least particular the laws of the country, and never to TOLERATE THEIR VIOLATION BY OTHERS."

Changing that to "let every villager" would help us return to the village it once was...

I am only lvl 60 on runescape and yet I have still come across my fair share of scammers and bad mouthers. I beleive that it should come to a stop and people should be friendly or be punished. and people that are always nice get gifts or something. I mean I'm always nice to people on runescape and yesterday I got 4 genies lol.

But anyway. I like it.

BTW. anychance you could bnlock out the word NOOB on runescape cuz to many peopl use the word and it isn't very nice!

hey nice speech. Ive been on this thing for a long time now, longer then half the mods. I must say there has always been flaming here and to say there was a point of great friendship isnt true but its reached new heights. Unnecesarily at points to. I mean there will always be flaming in the pker forums u can't help stuff like that. However when people start calling others noobs and such while people are trying to buy/sell stuff. It's ridiculuous. Just so everyone knows if your goin to call someone a noob don't noone wants to hear wat you have to say if your goin to be like that.

Personally, I wouldn't even call that a speech. I'd call it something more along the lines of a mission statement. It really reminds me of the way I wish America was today. When I hear of a someone trying to remove the words "Under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance, it makes me think, "Why don't they leave and go to a country where things are more to their taste". Also, for example, when someone tries to have the 10 Commandments removed from an Alabama court. Why can't people just leave things the way they are? There was absolutely nothing wrong with the way it was before, why try to accomodate for others who can't just accept something for the way it is? Christianity is what America was founded, on, and in this situation, RuneVillage was founded upon respect. If you don't like it, leave. Sorry to bring the topic of religion and politics to this topic, I just thought i'd relate it to that.

Way off topic: I thought there was something in America that said that the federal government should be kept non-religious....I see what you mean by seeing that some poeple take it too far..what difference does "under God" really make. But then again, what difference does it really make - how does it upset you if it makes someone happier to not be forced to say "under God"

But then religious issues in america (cough*creationism*cough) is a very big discussion and definately a topic for the debate forum

Nothing wrong with a few flames here and there, the world would be boring without flaming, theres just some drama queens that take it out of proportion. We still manage to keep a 'U' or 'PG' (erm 'under 13' if you live in American???) enviroment and theres loads of members who probably swear in rl so that seems pretty good considering alot of other popular forums are overrun with 'f' and 's'.
