I like your last two posts. It all makes sense. I can't argue with you about me being caught in your trap and how that looks. I would implore you guys to lean toward Frank first, though. I don't know that he's mafia, but I know that I am not AND that I willingly brought new information to the table, and will continue to do so with out changing my story or being intentionally vague. Frank has done that, jokes or not. There's a point where things need to get serious so they don't get confusing.

As for Top, I didn't see what he said as a rolefish, until you guys pointed it out. When you guys pointed it out, I was thinking, yeah. That's a rolesfish alrigjt

Okay so the situation is:

- There was no kill last night.
- Sparky, Spiro and Frank all claimed to have visited Jackstick's house
- Sparky claims to be a trap-setter of some sort with 50% success rate. Claims two traps were sprung at Jack's house but he only learned the name of Spiro. Also added just recently that his traps apparently roleblock?
- Spiro is claiming a tracker-like role and claims he saw Frank visit Jack, which Frank did not deny.
- Frank has not given any details of what his action was.

So I guess my questions are:

@Sparky

Please clarify exactly how your traps work, right now all your details are spread across different posts. From my understanding you trap a house and anyone who visits it has a 50% chance of being trapped, which roleblocks them and gives you their name? If Spiro was indeed the killer and roleblocked, then how did he learn Frank visited Jack correctly? Are your traps only for people who visit the target or do they also work on the person who lives there? It seems unlikely it would be both but not out of the realm of possibility.

@Spiro

Is there any sort of catch to your role we should know about? I'm not sure Kikori would just put into a totally vanilla Tracker.

@Frank

What exactly your action was last night is definitely relevant to the situation on reflection, but I've given up getting it out of you.

We're definitely a little tunnel visioned here, we don't even know for sure that Jack was even the target of an attack last night. I don't see how Spiro could have been attacking if he was supposedly roleblocked yet could still learn where Frank was going, so something's not adding up here about Sparky's claim either. And since Frank wasn't 'caught' it doesn't seem he was attacking either. There's seven players besides Jackstick, perhaps the kill failed for completely unrelated reasons?

My second post said it could have been other people's roles that stopped a kill last night and not me.

Flavor didn't say anyone was even protected last night so this could all be mafia shenanigans again.

It's mainly like you said Top, I trap a whole house. Or maybe around it I guess? So anyone who visits it or leaves gets caught. Maybe Jack stayed at home? Then the sprung trap that escaped could have been Frank.

Well Fuzzy Bunny. I guess I have to spell everything out because people still haven't come to terms that I visited Jackstick and Jack didn't die. Better yet, he didn't vote for me.

OK, here is the scoop that I will give you. Spiro is not being as honest with you as he could be. Last night I visited Jackstick and was really unable to find out his role because Sparky's traps. However, interestingly enough, Jack has a special role where I was allowed to speak with him last night about what was happened. Though I do not necessarily trust that Jackstick is "town-aligned" I do believe he is "non-mafia" aligned. Take that for whatever you think it's worth.

I am also privy to share, since I guess I am this close to dying, that Spiro isn't as forth coming as he has been claiming. I didn't want to share this because it puts a remarkable amount of information that is useful to the mafia without necessarily being useful to the town in the open. However, I would guess Spiro or Top was quite successful in when Sparky and Spiro's first post came forward and was able to press for information that only really helps the mafia.

Part of my investigation last night led to a prompt where I could elect to stay and confront a person or run away. I chose to stay. What I've learned is that *someone* chose to run away. I'm at least somewhat satisfied with Tops initial response. Sounds more like a desperate townie than a mafioso, but....him recanting his entire line of thought struck me as bizarre. And out of character. But there are clearly bigger fish to fry.

No more then most of the people in this thread. I do know something happened last night outside of my visit to Jackstick. Someone else was there... but it's not clear what the intent was at all. Maybe this person was Spiro... Maybe it was another person. I don't know. All I know is that this person "ran away" when given the prompt I chose to stick around for.

That said, I'm not explicitly interested in killing Spiro. (unvote) Not after what Monk has stated. Of all the roles out in the open now, Spark's was the one I felt sounded "most town." So for Siggy to cast the vote on it I feel is worthy of better reflection on.

I have given the information I have collected so far, and will continue to do so. I won't be revealing the second half of my role until it will benefit the town.

Frank is right, I haven't given every detail of my role, but I didn't lie about it.

I guess I'll unvote for now. Frank, I wouldn't contradict yourself anymore, if you don't want my vote.

Monk, Sparky? Huh. Is there a role you know of that is mafia aligned and traps?

Discussion, conversation, finger pointing, activity claiming... It all comes to a screeching halt, no warning whatsoever before Monk Basher lurches over and releases a stream of vomit. Before the rest of the town can so much as ask if he's okay, he grunts, and heaves red before falling on his side. A tentative finger gets pressed to his throat, feeling nothing and seeing a sheet of white on his face.

"He's... dead..."

Just like that. A moment of silence passes before eyes turn to his home, looking to and fro between themselves before collectively making their way to the now vacant abode, exploring together. Among the possessions, they find quite a few pairs of binoculars, telescope, a notepad and pen fresh by each one... Most noteworthy of the day's activities prior to the Mafia's reveal are documented pretty well, but the sole entry for the night since then seems to be written in some cryptic arrangement of letters and numbers. It's short, and nobody can translate it. Aside from the obsession with viewing from afar, nothing of any danger or ill intent is found. It's safe to say a good pair of eyes were just lost.

Sighence - Watcher, Killed Day Two

With heads scratching or hanging, the town once again disperses into the recently fallen night, much more contemplative at their next moves.

(Sorry for the delay, everyone!)

Once again the town reconvenes. Many faces look terribly fatigued, likely with the realization that a genuine threat is indeed among them, but once again a count of the town shows no heads or bodies missing. Not a single visible nick or scrape, either. It's not been a sign for a sigh of relief, however, and only brings a new wave of tension through the villagers as they turn to and fro to size up who may be the culprits. Another day, another attempt at justice...

Well this kind of changes everything. So now it's not very likely at all that Frank or Spiro were trying to kill anybody last night.

So now we've got what, two and a half claimed investigative roles running around? Spiro claims to be a Tracker, Frank claims to be a town-aligned Stalker, and Sparky can trap people and roleblock/find their name.

Best course of action probably is for all three of these roles to come forward with anything of note from last night, and from all the pieces we can deduce who's not being truthful. At this time I'm least inclined to believe Frank since A: Stalker is traditionally a mafia-aligned role, but more importantly B: What good is finding out somebody's role name in a setup featuring unorthodox roles like Sparky's trapper and whatever the hell Jackstick's 'talk to people who visit me' role is.

I guess it's possible none of them are lying too... we can be pretty sure none of them carried out Monk's poisoning anyways.

By process of elimination that would have to be Aragorn, Lander or me wouldn't it? I guess it's also possible that the poisoner was one of the people at Jackstick's and had another ability to carry out in ADDITION to the kill, but the involvement of Sparky's traps make me less inclined to believe that.

Completely agree with your deduction up until you voted for me. Let's see what the investigative roles turn up before starting a lynch train on me shall we? I am just a normall townie - no special powers to speak of at all. I'm starting to think both you Lander are mafia (or at least non-town) aligned...

I was simply pressuring you with my vote, no "lynch train" intended. It may be four votes to lynch, but in a setup this size I'm thinking two mafia MAX so it's not anywhere close to PLAY SUPER CAREFUL time.

Since Lander was going a bit crazy voting for like three different non Frank or Spiro people yesterday, I trapped his house figuring there might be some action last night.

What i got was two traps, one with an escape, and the other was Lander... Outside his own window?

Not super useful info. Kinda weird you would need to sneak out of your own house and not use the front door though.

Also I think someone poisoned the water supply.
