I know many of you don't play anymore, but for those of you that do, I'm looking for some help with getting my smithing from 81 to 85.
Any ores or bars would be a huge help.

Falling stars give chance to mine double ore for 18 mins or so and 20 gold ore. Not really what I would recommend for training smithing

Anyway personally I camped LRC for a while to get the gold ores needed for 99 smithing with goldsmithing gauntlets, at the same time you can craft gold bracelets for crafting exp - or gold amulets if you want more exp, but less money return.

I got to 99 Smithing by doing gold ore smelting with the Family Crest gloves. Something to consider if you have the time, as it's quite cheap (Or was quite cheap). Also the Artistans Workshop may be an idea?

It's kind of boring making so few bars per load.

You can profit from buying steel bars and making cannonballs, but it's extremely slow and tedious.. but I guess that's when you create a second account to play at the same time, which is allowed now

It's kind of weird how Jagex allows that now. I've done cbs, and they really are boring. Did that for 70-83.
