Can't say I'm disappointed with Blue finally buckling down and explaining himself. Can't particularly fault him for trying a new method, with it in mind his behavior does paint him in a more villager light, and it doesn't seem like a rushed or backwards Mafia style logic at all. Unvote.

I'm itching to vote for Sparky just to try to secure a lynch, but two things are bothering me right now. The only scummy bit I can see against him is his "purely OMGUS vote" deflection. And there's another unfortunately shocking pattern among roles being claimed here. I potentially kill my attacker, Riptide claims someone can try to kill him, Lander's mafia-proof, Spiro is beckoning people to try to kill him, Bluecoat can roleblock, and Rip can protect. That's a lot of deflection in a single game, and I've got more of an itch that one of said deflectors is a fibber. Of those listed, [s]Spirographed[/b] concerns me the most. A flip from a potential lynch (justified at the time) to a flop for someone who's posting in circles, highly possibly Hunting, and being voted for alongside another "I'll fight back if attacked" claimer in Riptide. A weak roleclaim and no real explanation for it or its timing. Just... no.

Tennis, I'm still trying to save it. Suspicions abound, but no gut feelings on anyone to follow. I'm more interested in building Sting counts so Ward will strike that first blow if I'm right, but won't screw anyone if I'm wrong.

Well I would like to say one last thing before I go to bed, and that is that when I said my Tennis Ace vote was purely and OMGUS vote, I meant it as in OMG YOU SUCK, WHO WOULD DO THAT?! Not as in the Mafia Vocab way, like An Eye For An Eye. He hadn't even voted for me yet so it can't be used that way anyway. Sorry for the confusion.

Uhhh, couple things:

Ape is out of character, I agree with this. When defending himself from Thr's suspicions, he invoked a lot of hypotheticals 'why would I do this' and 'i would do this if i were mafia'. Doesn't strike me as typical town behavior, strikes me as something of an overreaction to a nearly baseless (as it stood) claim.

MONK@@@ Do not be surprised if this man is lying. He investigates himself. Warranted, but convenient. He investigates Tennis Ace, who I doubt to be mafia. He then, and this is the kicker, WASTES AN INVESTIGATION on me. This is the most bothersome thing about his claim. Why on earth would a player such as yourself investigate someone who is all but confirmed??? When we have had 3 lynchless days, you investigate someone who lived through the single recurring attempt we've seen. I just don't follow the logic. And why tennis ace, for that matter? You investigate yourself, a confirmed townie, and a low-risk person. Why you wouldn't have investigated Ape, Doc Henry, Kikori, or bluecoat is way way beyond me.

I am not willing to test this theory just yet, but I will roll those dice if it comes down to it.

I still believe bluecoat is probable mafia, Ape is probable mafia. The dark horse candidates are riptide and/or Sparky.

People are either certainly lying about their roles or we are totally about to get our asses kicked by some epic mafia role. There's no way Top would put so many self-protecting/paranoid gun owner roles in the game and give the mafia jack squat. But this is just speculation. I believe the liars, at this point, to be Monk and Defeat.

Not particularly digging the Sparky train, but Monk is right in that someone has to die, if only for us to collect some data. But do you know who else would say that? THE MAFIA

Out of character for a town player? Maybe, it's subjective. I'd probably give you that. There seems to be an odd perception that people who aren't willing to put in effort to defend of themselves are more likely to be town than not, though. Out of character for me? Most definitely not. I will always go out of my way to defend myself against suspicion, however small, regardless of my own alignment and regardless of the status of the person casting said suspicions. It's just how I roll. I defended myself the same way in my first game here and will pretty much always continue to do so.

As far as Monk's claim goes, you make some valid points. He could be fishing for the real detective, I suppose. I'd also like to add that an alignment investigation seems a bit silly to me in a game like this. It's such a perfect opportunity to have a character investigator instead. Still, I'm willing to take his word on it for now, merely because it is the safe option and I feel that if it's a clever ploy it will undo itself before too late.

I agree that a lynch is best, to whittle through the 'remaining' unknowns. Now that a large factor in my stress is temporarily relieved, I'll have a read back through the thread tonight and see who grabs me the most.

I've told you to stop assuming. It is a poor man's excuse for logic and you keep ruining some good logic and plays by jumping from conclusion to conclusion. This is at LEAST the third time in this game in which you have done it.

Belittling me won't make me think of you any less of a Mafia like you are trying btw, so it'd be nice if you stopped. I consider you a more likely Mafioso than Sparky, but my hand was forced when everyone else voted that way. Just keeping things out in the open.

I didn't want to use my detective ability, (see where someone goes) until I was suspicious of someone. So nothing N1. N2 I actually was going to use an ability, but sent the PM to myself instead of Top, because I don't use PM's very often, and apparently suck at it. N3 I just forgot about night roles completely, which sucks because now I'm in a bad place with no info.

Also, my first post was "Data found, location known." and one of E-102 Gamma's quotes is "No data found, location unknown... This presents a problem..." which I changed up for the game.
