I'm sure this has been asked and answered before, but I've just returned to the village and it seems to me (I could be wrong) like activity is at an all time low. Are we still a Runescape fan site? If so, should we try to keep being one considering the fact that almost no one here still plays?

I love this place to death and it would be amazing to re purpose it or make the place have a more defined purpose in order to get more steady traffic / active users! On the other hand, if we're still all about Runescape, we need more Runescape content / discussion!

I've been away for a while too and jumped back on spring 2013. It still seems active to me, but not the RS discussion, which i am also surprised. I play very little now compared to 3 years ago. Just not as much interest anymore

We still have the occasional runescape discussion. But many people feel betrayed by jagex with how they handled removing us from the gold fansite list.

And RV is kindof active still. A couple dozen people still post around. Others just read.

I forgot to mention the whole situation about Jagex removing RV from their top fansites. That was one reason why RS is also no longer the main topic for the site. It felt like that happened a long time ago. What year was it?

This. Long story short: went down with Jagex because Hiker was an unregistered sex offender or something like that. Henner took his place, but then deserted us.

Most Rvers drift in and out now. There's the few hardcore RVers, but not many. Most of the time it's just "Hey guys i'm back for 10 mins, see you again in 6 months"

Not that i know anyone like that
