Yeah, and I did begin to taunt him during the game. That being said, im curious how well we would work if we were both mafia.

And as for jarons RPing, at the begining I was like: k, what the hell. This needs to stop.
But then it got entertaining and I actually began to await his posts :P

And well done pyro. Im very impressed with how you turned a rough start into a stellar finnish. Two correct doctor attempts in a row.

Towards the end of the game the only non-mafia member who believed i was a mafia member was Kikori, i was so happy towards the end. I swear i only survived because i didn't vote for anyone the entire game.

Cheers to Paidea and Sayaka for being quality Mafia partners.

My vote for best Mafia member probably goes to Sayaka, just for the role-playing technique all throughout the game.

Well that sucked. I'm glad Jaron was mafia, because now anyone RPing can be called out for confusing the town and use Jaron as a precedent.

@Godders. When you were being really tentative about voting at all I became very suspicious but I wasn't going to bring it up until the next day.

I certainly would've been the same way if i was playing as a villager, because the vote would've hammered or one before hammered at it was a LYLO situation, and with 48 hours + of the day still to play there was no rush to vote without carefully considering the valuation of Kikori's chances of being Mafia/Villager.

Well done, Godders. It was not being able to pin you as mafia that made me hammer on Kikori and Sparky instead of Jaron.

If only my role hadn't been blocked then we could have taken out Paidea the next day and then figured out who the other two really were :(

But yeah I'm completely baffled that neither Godders or Jaron went after Market to end the game. If they had both done it then even if one person unvoted out of panic it would have been too late.

I thought about Aragorns use as a vengeful townie, but it just wasn't safe to use. I felt like he was far too villager evident to lose and that he would garner attention from the mafia and make an easy protect on Night 5. Which I was right, only to get roleblocked.

With Jaron being a roleblocker my entire plan was doomed. I wanted to hold off deciding between Jaron and Sparky until the very end when it was safer to take risks and just kill them both, but with a roleblocker, it was impossible to give us the +2 advantage on the mafia that I was hoping for.

I thought for a brief moment after Godders was hesitant to vote that maybe I should just switch to Paidea, but then he would have escaped the lynch and I would have thought he was just unlynchable. He was just as likely in my mind as Kikori for being mafia, but Kikori seemed suspicious thanks to Ex Rex in my mind and more people seemed on board for killing Kikori after he openly talked about the Jester being a good idea to be lynched. I wish I had switched over now if for nothing other than to take Jaron from slightly suspicious to definitely suspicious. I still would have been set on Sparky and Kikori in that event, though.

I defended myself every night but the last simply because no one seemed like a solid mark that the mafia would go after. Then after Kikori was revealed a villager I realized that Aragorn was literally THE ONLY player that didn't have anything suspicious about him. I believed that either Kikori or Market had to be mafia to not have gotten killed that night, and when Kikori was shown innocent, I couldn't trust market anymore. That's why I shot for Aragorn. I didn't think the mafia would bother attacking me twice in a row and figured after I was completely debunked that they would expect me to panic and defend myself, but that didn't matter thanks to Jaron's roleblock.

That was a good game at the end. I just wish we hadn't lost the detective so soon.

And yeah, escape artist seems overpowered. Especially without an assassin role.

I'm quite impressed that you succeeded in picking out Aragorn as the intended attack target. I'd like to think we still had a chance to win if you'd been able to trust your conviction against Paidea, but the Escape Artist does kind of shoot that one to hell.

I certainly belive that if we had not had a Roleblocker that the Village would probably have one, with Aragorn and Pyro then confirmed as Villagers

After jackstick died it was pretty much the Mafias game to lose.
Pyro, you were right about me but for the wrong reason. I was the only person to defend kikori so even if there was another day I probably wouldn't be lynched. And furthermore, I would just claim governor and be pretty much clear when my Lynch failed. Unlynchable is overpowered 98% of the time, even if its only single use.
Kikori, I didn't hammer you because I genuinely wasn't paying attention to this game most of the time. I'm working full time and taking summer classes. But I felt like it should have been painfully obvious you were a villager for what its worth.
Finally, its always beneficial to keep a jester alive as Mafia for jointing purposes.

I concur. We must lynch him now for the sake of the metagame, we MUST teach people that they can't go around claiming "anniversary" and expect leniency. Topsummoner.

This is what Kikori was trying to argue on those last two days, which seemed to fail to be communicated.

I still stand by Jester being worth keeping alive for the village.

From a strategic standpoint I'd rather have it so the mafia would kill him during the night so that the victory wasn't stolen. Plus it's always worth having the padded numbers. If the lynch requires the jester to side with the village, then it's already too late in the game to just casually kill the Jester during the day. I wonder, if the game actually ended after the Jester wins, how drastically would the game change? I think a lot of people just discount the Jester's win and decide that second place is just as good.

This is pretty much the point I was making.

The Mafia didn't truly win. They tied. That's all there is to it. Lander even said winning is pretty much all he cares about in Mafia these days so I'm surprised everyone else just shrugs off the Jester trump.

Haha! Has that ever actually been a problem? :P It's kind of a silly precedent, though--I told you, I was going to have fun being Yuki Nagato even if I was assigned the Detective role instead. It had absolutely nothing to do with being Mafia.

Wasn't really given a chance in this game. As soon as I got the role I knew I'd be screwed.

Recent games somehow mean I've moved up the 'kill' priority list, as well as 'investigate', and the fact that both happened N1 means I wouldn't have survived D2 anyway.

Wouldn't have been believed with Miller claim at any point.

Well played to Top though, did not see that coming.
