If you can't find any other players to buy from, then you can buy Rune Platebody from Oziach in/near Edgeville, and Rune Legs from the Champion's Guild south of Varrock.

Not sure if any stores in RSC sell Rune Kiteshield or Rune Full Helm.

i was hoping to meet some people ingame to buy from so that rsc doesnt seem so dead.(i have ran into several people in the last 2 days) and that hopefully they will be cheaper than the shop.

purpieman, if you logged in during the opening periods(or never stopped playing rsc since rs2 came out) then you can log in to the game.
Rsc was never closed permanently.... they just arnt letting new accounts in.

Oh god. Let me tell you about the current state of Classic. I've been playing Classic a bit since 07scape opened and it's dead as all hell. Even back a couple of years ago it was much more active and now that it's closed for good a lot of people have lost interest and have moved over to 07scape since it's actually accepting new accounts. Draynor is the official marketplace and you can only find 4 or 5 people there at peak time if you're lucky. The forums would be the best place to arrange trades these days.

I managed to make a lot of cash over the last few reopenings by doing errands for rich players and gathering/selling stuff so I'm in the fortunate position of owning full rune, a glory and more recently a dragon long. Even with all that I don't have much desire to play the game anymore because of how dead it is. I've just never seen it this bad. Doing quests for nostalgia's sake can be fun sometimes though.

Some tips for moneymaking would be cake thieving then selling them to the baker stall vendor in Ardy, then if you stick with thieving long enough you can work your way up to the fur stall and sell them to the fur trader in Varrock. Silk thieving is a complete joke in Classic because of how well guarded the stall is. Hill giants in Edgeville dungeon are pretty much the best combat training if you want Prayer, otherwise stuff like Guards and White Knights work just as well. It's a hell of a lot more grindy than 07scape.

As for rune I could probably hook you up with a rune med from lesser demons if you asked nicely. The rest you can just get from the shops and rune chains are actually more useful than plates since you can equip steel or klank's gauntlets with them which give a small attack bonus.
