how about i just tell you?
to get anything out of rex, it will be necessary for more than just blue and i to be on his case. many more. thats not going to happen. sooooo
im hoping that if squid sees this within the next day, it is only necessary to have 1 person on his case to get something out of him.

So much contradiction, so much stupidity.

Between your one solitary vote, and Frisky telling him to get online, your objective had been achieved. Happy now? You can actually put your vote somewhere useful.

8 years on the forums, never having a fullstop in my name... yet every person seems to want to add one

and no, but I lost my job this week, and would rather see people in this game doing something useful rather than splitting the votes and putting them on random people 'to gain activity'.

A vote will not make someone active. If they are inactive, they wont see the vote. If they are lurking, they will make their own decision on when to come out of the woodwork, not do it because someone voted for them.

Ok guys, I am on my phone at the moment and just read through everything to catch up with what is currently happening. You all move very fast! Hopefully Imasquid will respond tomorrow.

I do have to say, that Friskyalpaca's posts to seem a bit scummy, yet from what I understand is he role claimed as a Village Commuter?

It would be nice to see more responses from Ex Rex, but I know that from playing global Mafia, he was not that active in that game either. It is pretty hard to tell at this point whether or not his actions are scummy or not...

I also have to say, that I will unvote for Paidea. I am tempted and leaning toward a vote for FriskyAlpaca.

Sorry to hear about the job mate, got laid-off about a year ago myself. I worked in a hospital, when I see doctor, I always see the period.

Although I'm skeptical, as one should be, unvote. It could be that Frisky is lying, that either he or a mafia team-mate come up with this scheme, but for now I'm inclined to believe him. Besides, if we're going to start lynching roleclaimed people, I'd rather pick one of the one's in the cult.

We still have time to search for the mafia, but most of the suspicious are either inactive or indecisive, neither of which are purely scum tendencies. We also have some very controlling players, notably Lander and Paidea, leading the town as they are oft to do. There is also Dr Henry, who is very aggressive this game. Very aggressive, as in a notable increase form anything I've seen of him before. Bluecoat seems adamant on voting Ex Rex, a notoriously inactive player, though it seems more rage at the system than an attempt to split the votes.. Market seems about the same on a new player, probably because there is a greater chance to spur activity. Monk and Top have kinda fallen off the radar because of their being attacked, even though we only know one isn't mafia and the other likely isn't demon. I'm not very sure right now as to what to think.

But on an unrelated note, Sayaka, you have been asked this but did not answer. Do you have a night ability? We know that a possessed possesses a night kill ability (albeit a weak one), and it's either you, or there is a fourth possessed.

Can't tell if you meant to actually vote there... usually if you are leaning towards something, you are thinking of doing it but not quite ready to do so yet.

@Frisky, technically the name never started out as an abbrev. for Doctor. Also, having to close your own store down, boxing up every single thing with your colleagues, just blows :/

Wish people would stop saying I'm being aggressive just because I'm trying to get things done.

Yeah, that does sound like a real downer of situation. Again, sounds like a tough break and best of luck.

Yeah, I meant to vote there. I'm just exhausted, but wanted to try to post at least once today and get a word in. :P

If he were mafia, it isn't too late at all, 4/8 votes is nowhere near too late to roleclaim. As a demon, supporting the lynch of Paidea fits easily, as it 'cements' him more as not the demon. WIFOM right there, would the demon vote for his follower to appear non-demon, or would he not? Whoever we lynch, as long as it isn't the demon, benefits said demon.

That's not what I meant by too late. What I meant is Frisky has been the focus of the day for a while now and has been floundering to defend himself. I find it hard to believe his mafia partners would fabricate a roleclaim for him when he's so unable to defend himself. Plus, Frisky has been breadcrumbing having a role for a while now. You have a point on the WIFOM for the Paidea vote, but I still find it hard to believe such a new player would fabricate a roleclaim unaided.

Do you have any other suggestions for who could be demon at this exact moment?

See below.

Quote:
Saying bluecoat isn't suspicious is just wrong. At this exact moment he is choosing to split the votes, stubbornly refusing to change his vote from someone who frankly will not get lynched today (there is no reason for 8 people to vote Ex Rex, and he is not going to surface today... so leave it until early tomorrow if you are that sure he is mafia), instead of helping lynch someone.

You're saying Bluecoat is suspicious for not joining a train he doesn't buy? :?: Doesn't that make me equally suspicious?

---------------------------------

10. Landerpurex

Probably town, especially after the Kikori fiasco. Could be the Demon but I doubt it.

11. Sighence

I feel like Monk is being overlooked. I think the fact that he was visited by a follower of the demon (followers who thusfar seem to be unaware of the Demon's identity), and the action failed, suggests he could himself be the Demon. Out of the active players he'd be my number 1 pick for that.

13. Paidea

Claimed possessed nurse, with JoaT investigation to confirm it. Symptom, not the problem. Probably dead tonight.

14. Phantomrose

A bit inactive. I'm suspicious after the additional vote on the Frisky train. Could be mafia, probably not demon though.

15. PenguinGuy

Hard to get a read on Penguin since he's one of the few people that play Mafia better than Town. Could be mafia or demon.

16. Ex Rex

Inactive. Not much to say here.

17. Rat King

Inactive. Not much to say here.

18. Imasquid

Inactive. Not much to say here.

------------------------------

I'm going to go with a vote for Sighence. The circumstances behind what happened on the last night are just too peculiar. Plus, he really hasn't contributed much. He was a late joiner on the Kikori lynch, then put a FoS on Paidea at the start of this day (but not a vote). He's my number 1 for Demon right now.

Sighence wrote:
Paid, your analysis seems to forget that we know that the demon wins with controlling the entire population. Treating the cult as a separate side is a bad idea there. FoS on you; my intuition tells me you're intentionally misleading us.

Yeah, I've been less active than usual. I've had finals and a nice long drive. Those are done now; I can be more active.

As for me being the demon, I'd say the flavor text quite heavily implies that I'm not. My FoS on Paid stands, evem more so since I don't see where he even bothered to reply to it; that's honestly the most reliable scumtell for him that I know of since he seems to post regularly regardless of alignment. I believe the cult is far more organized than they'd have us believe. This is bolstered by the fact that my attacker hasn't come forward. We're mere hours from the deadline and I won't be surprised if I'm the last post so I won't bother to vote today. That'll change tomorrow.

Salutations, I assure all of you I am distinctly alive. In fact, I made cookies today. They were delicious. It was during the baking of these magical morsels that I actually received Frisky's message to pop online. Everything he say is true, my schooling takes presedence and it really enjoys that goal. Also a good friend is in from our magical homeland. Although I am not as active in posting as you all probably desire, I assure you that I am reading and give consideration to my votes. Day two was a total flub on my end. Again, I apologize; would you like for me to self-immolate in remorse?

MarketMan, your ploy to incite action through a vote for my head is meaningless. You are wasting your vote. I believe that the other players see the same way. There is currently no reason to vote against me because there is so little known. I hope this doesn't attract suspicion, I don't mean to do this. It will be an unsatisfying kill too, unless you like executing for no reason. I can't afford the time to defend myself from ill informed accusations, which is apparently a good reason for you to not vote against Rose. However, I fathom y'all will use this as fodder.

At this moment, my priority is trying to figure out who the demon is. I see him as more of a threat than the mafia. It has been argued that the mafia is well outnumbered by the cult. If the demon is nixed, then we can focus on the mafia's erradication. Which seems to be our supposed cultists preferred method of victory. So why don't we all jump on this bandwagon.

I have a natural urge to defend Frisky, but I also have a background with him. I know his tendency for deception in games and I would be shocked if he isn't doing more than what he expresses he is. Ex Rex made an excellent point, I doubt that this is his actual role as well.

If we lynch no one, the odds of me hitting a villager and not mafia/demon are higher tonight. This is basically a dice roll so if I hit a village power role and cost us the game I'm not taking sole responsibility. I've been as helpful as I can be.

This. Although whether not being mafia = 100% good thing and safe to not lynch depends on whether the town can win if mafia is eliminated and cult survives, or if mafia's elimination will then lead to cult vs. town. Don't think this makes much sense though :S

I was going back through all the posts trying to find something that did not add up. This quote happens to be from D2 and before the whole PM thing with Kikori.

I am a villager, and if you were a villager, you would have known both the demon and mafia have to be dead for us to win. Villagers have no reason to lie or hide their win conditions. The mafia know who they are and know everyone else to be an enemy.

You are right, it does not make much sense because if you were a villager you would know.

Dr Henry and unvote Paidea sounds like he may be dead tonight anyways.

I don't have anything to say to an FoS. You already know my role, alignment, winning condition, and power. What could you possibly be suspicious of?

@Aragorn: if you're gonna shoot someone, shoot an inactive.

I concur. We must lynch him now for the sake of the metagame, we MUST teach people that they can't go around claiming "anniversary" and expect leniency. Topsummoner.
