Got my copy about half an hour ago.

Will be starting it in a few hours. Anyone else playing this?

I still have the other 3 games to play, just finished AC2 last night, starting AC:B later today.

I've never even tried any of the previous Assassin's Creed games until this one.

Played about a hour of it. Pretty fun. Seems like something I can get into. I'll be borrowing it after my buddy beats it, no need to buy it when we trade games between us quite a bit.

Played 2 hours of it, and I haven't had this much fun playing an Assassin's Creed game since 2.

First game is completely awful, controls ruin it.

AC:2 is by far the best of the ones I've played so far.

AC:B is pretty good, although it's shorter than AC:2

AC:R seems like the same thing as AC:B but with different location, but it's fresh enough to not be like CoD or something, still fun but not very far into it!

Still have some questionable controls, mostly with camera on some jumps but otherwise pretty good. I haven't been into a game this much since Batman Arkham City & Skyrim.

I'll be getting AC3 for PC, so gotta wait another week for it's release. Good time to take my time with AC:R

This is the first game in the series I've picked up, and so far I'm not all that impressed with it. I've seen friends play the others and always thought they looked fun, but I've been hitting so many glitches in this one that have ruined my missions that it's kind of breaking it for me.

I just had to forcibly restart the Paul Revere mission three times to get past the fact that he wouldn't recognize that we were on horseback, and the climbing system can't seem to figure out the definition of left or right for me. Sneaking through the bushes has not been the best way to go, since Connor seems to randomly stand up while sitting still, or spaz out on nothing. I can't be the only person having these problems, because so far that's what it seems like.

That sucks, Bluecoat. I don't seem to be having as hard a time as you. The Revere mission went fine for me, and I can't say I've ever stood up out of the bushes out of nowhere.

Sometimes climbing is a son of a bitch though. I'm sure they'll patch it eventually.

I have same problems bluecoat, the games definitely have problems but It's a great story, at least Ezio Auditore's. I suggest playing AC2 first. There's been many areas that I'm ready to break the controller but don't. Hell, just last night I was playing AC:R and was climbing a HUGE tower(Galata) to get a Memoir Page and Ezio kept jumping off, had to reclimb it 5 freaking times...but the game is good enough to come back for more.

I started off with AC1 and HATED it. I forced myself to play it. Then I started AC2 and it was infinitely better, but the controls and camera are still complete Fuzzy Bunny on some jumps and have problems with climbing.

AC:B & AC:R are more so extensions of playing as ezio and are much shorter, and I haven't played AC3 yet but I feel I will miss Ezio.

I finished ACIII yesterday and i think it is my second favourite AC game, behind ACII.

Good and bad points:

Hidden:
- Great Desmond story line
- Great main storyline
- Building on Homestead didn't seem appealing as much as restoring cities had been in the Ezio story line.
- Hunting was fun for taking a break from the story to make money and enjoy a new game play aspect.
- Connor didn't seem like a character i could connect with like i did with Ezio in the first game for him.

AC:R was ok, just finished last night..ending was cool but they left one MAJOR thing out.

Hidden:
They made no mention of Lucy at all after Desmond stabbed her at the end -_- I assume she's dead, but they don't even say anything about her

In AC3 the only mention of her is when Rebecca asks Desmond about Lucy, and he says he doesn't want to talk about it.

There are a few other "plot holes" they didn't mention during AC:R but it currently escapes me :/

I am definitely a fan of the series now, despite the fustration from the climbing mechanics and camera controls, but nowhere near as bad as AC1 lol.

I'll be buying AC3 soon enough ^_^

Trees are a Fuzzy Bunny nightmare to climb, i wasnt able to get a single viewpoint for the trees, after like 5 attempts of jumping out of a tree at 200ft up i gave up.

Yeah tree viewpoints are a real dickhole. My perseverance is the only reason I've gotten them.

Agreed how thery're pretty annoying to sync. Finished the main game, and have to say it's good, but not as good as AC2 or Brotherhood imo. Heard the MP is good. Anyone try it?

MP?

I quit playing this for a long time, like 2 months because it got somewhat repetitive for me. I started again yesterday, we'll see what happens.
