At the end of it all, I like the variant. Victory is nice, but it seems like every role was lined up in my favor at the end there.
I do take credit for successfully turning "Hitman" into "Vindicator", as it took a lot of holding back and risky waiting to make that story remotely believable. Henry's inability to keep from wasting his vest on Godders was pretty much the biggest error in the game--even he didn't believe the guy to be innocent, and his role's wording suggested he protected the innocent. That is the one thing I, too, would outright complain about from Top. (My other genuine complaint lies in Monk's rage, but that's for time to help.) Everything else was little enough that it can be tweaked out, namely the repeat judges.
Only similar people ended up on trial, Top? Let's count that one out... Scar, Penguin, Kikori, Rex D1. Dr. Henry, Godders, Monk, Rex D2. Lander, Monk, Kikori, Rex D3. The only person that never made it into a speaking seat was the one who died N0, Aragorn. Also, sorry bud, my original plan was to start from the bottom and work up based on peoples' post count, length, and contribution (by my own reckoning). Rex was due to die N1 (only left alive N0 because he's my bro <3), so that left you N0. After the roleclaim debacle, my plan had to change and Scar had to go.
I suppose I should explain my kill on Penguin. After all, he seemed to trust me enough to make me a Judge again. I call that a necessary final day wrench in the gears. The worst case scenario for me is if we end up with three people who are confirmed--example of Rex, myself, and Penguin--and they figure out, solely by numbers, that I was lying. I needed an escape plan. Killing Presidents gave me the ability to say, if the need were to come, "No, you liar, it's me." ONCE AGAIN, my plan was cut short by Monk's "Henry is Mafia" bit. He set the plan for me, and going away from it would only end up hurting.
