If i was Mafia, why the hell would i go and pretend like you were the real Mafia, i am sure it would probably be much easier to say that Aragorn was Mafia than you.

I'm sure if Aragorn was Mafia he would've killed me off earlier knowing i was a detective than using me to his advtange. (I'm not really sure i haven't seen him play before and imagine that he is a little rusty)

You would target me because Tahu and Aragorn havn't been very active this game really until yesterday. So you felt it would be easier to paint me as Mafia to two people who havn't been participating a whole lot in the game than it would be to convince me that Aragorn was Mafia, especially after I pushed against you at the start of the day and you got a villager killed yesterday.

Exactly, if Aragorn or I were Mafia you wouldn't have lasted this long if you really were a Detective. But as you aren't a real Detective, and in reality are Mafia you have lived this long. I don't think I can remember more than one or two games I have ever played or seen played where the Detective lived this long. The fact of the matter is our Detective died yesterday because of your false claims.

I lived this long because most days key players in Mafia eyes popped up like Dr Henry, Landerpurex etc and i'm sure if this game went onto another night then i would imagine i would be kept alive because i am the most easily lynchable, and i would only imagine Aragorn would be killed because Tahu seems to be on your side.

No, again you've lived this long because you are the one doing the killing. Detectives always take priority over normal Villagers. We saw this last night, Henry was killed while a self-proclaimed Detective is left to live another night, so if you really were a Detective and not a Mafia member you'd be gone already.

Furthermore, while Henry was still alive he was certain that you and Top were the two remaining Mafia. He was right about Top, and you've done nothing at all to make me believe he was wrong about you.

Day 6 has arrived.

Aragorn, Scrubbing Bubble, has been popped.

The bathtub scum still claims this area of porcelain.

Debrief to follow.

Not entirely. I had you pinned as the mafia, I had just hoped that by acting like I thought it was Godders, you'd have left me alive in the hopes that I'd get him lynched today. Backfired nicely though, since you used "Henry has been right about Kik and Top" to convince Aragorn and Tahu :/

Ah well, despite the utter mess that happened D2, was a fairly fun game. Guess Aragorn and I truely were the only vanilla townies - lame :(

Eh, I foiled your plan which made any private suspicions you had against me irrelevant. And then even used what you'd said while you were alive to convince Aragorn to kill a guy who was confirming him as town and had helped kill Top.

I think that's awesome.

Godders wasn't confirming anyone. As should be obvious to everyone at this point, he was a Random Detective.

4/22/2012 12:35:04 PM Jeff James House But not how to word it.
4/22/2012 12:35:05 PM James House Jeff go ahead and point that out to me
4/22/2012 12:36:41 PM James House Jeff absolutely ridiculous how you're taking my breaking of the quote as a scumtell though.
4/22/2012 12:37:57 PM Jeff James House Well, I assumed the entire argument was jokative.
4/22/2012 12:38:05 PM Jeff James House Since I thought you knew about Monk being late with the PMs.
4/22/2012 12:38:12 PM James House Jeff nope
4/22/2012 12:38:15 PM James House Jeff I didn't.
4/22/2012 12:38:32 PM James House Jeff I saw my PM

4/22/2012 12:38:37 PM James House Jeff 17 posts in
4/22/2012 12:38:39 PM James House Jeff so I caught up quickly
4/22/2012 12:38:50 PM James House Jeff so that I could make my obligatory joke-post on Lander
4/22/2012 12:38:58 PM James House Jeff I was hoping to beat him to the punch but it was not to be
4/22/2012 12:40:08 PM James House Jeff .... that was a filthy way of pointing out I missed it
4/22/2012 12:40:12 PM James House Jeff you posted like you already knew I missed it
4/22/2012 12:40:35 PM Jeff James House I did not. :?:
tactical omission
4/22/2012 12:48:47 PM James House Jeff so yeah
4/22/2012 12:48:51 PM James House Jeff I wasn't getting anything out of my system
4/22/2012 12:48:57 PM James House Jeff your post seemed legitimately scummy to me.
4/22/2012 12:51:25 PM James House Jeff hm

The entire "faked argument" that pinned me and Topsummoner as mafia was in fact a genuine misunderstanding. Kind of sucks that we ended up being called out on it at the very start, since we were both behaving as normally as possible (not counting me "attacking him for BBcode").

In the end, the plan worked. Once I realized how screwed I was, I had to at least get something rolling in our direction. I could have claimed Detective and said "I'm innocent and someone is lying about having investigating me", but. Two mafia claiming Doctor (which would normally never happen), with one of them actually being in a position to have his claim "validated"? I was a martyr, sure, but I had to go out swinging while securing Top for as long as possible. Market Man's sheer scummy behavior served me well. With a detective dead, I was soon to be taken out.
Henry was right about the day of my lynch passing too fast for the village to use. It was my one worry. "Tahu daykills Kikori, confirms the both of them and gives us a day to talk" couldn't happen. AND IT DIDN'T. IT FELT AWESOME.
Kudos to Scar for maintaining that perfect amount of distance and (dis)agreeability to finish the game off.

Also, encase anyone was wondering. We just genuinely didn't send a kill PM on N1. Everyone thought everyone else was going to do it.

This game made me incredibly angry on several fronts. In the end, despite my role and my suspicions, it was a success for the mafia and that's all there is to it.

As a wise man once said, what you believe or know doesn't matter. The key is getting others to follow you.
