I was annoyed because I further split the votes without realizing it. His was a short post that I overlooked and didn't take into account right away. Not that my actions would have been different.

The villagers decide they think Riptide is the scum that has been killing their friends. Only offhandly resisting, he is rather easily lynched. As he hangs, the villagers contemplate whether they have made a mistake.

A party of villagers is sent to inform his family. But no-one is found inside. Instead, every wall is lined with photos of the various people of the village. Sitting on the bed, is a hit-list with Kikori Kid and Dr Henry's names. There is no doubt; the villagers made the right choice.

Riptide - Mafia Stalker, Lynched Day Three

Greatly relieved, but still wary of another evil among them, the villagers head to bed.

Night Three begins. The night phase will end at 9:40 PM EST on Sunday. The next day phase will probably be slightly lengthened due to Easter.

Don't take your anger out on Riptide just because you didn't sign up for the game. That's really unfair. Top was desperately trying to get a hold of you before sign-ups ended and yet all you're doing is complaining, when the only person to blame is yourself.

I'd absolutely love to do this tomorrow when this plan could work even better, but the odds are against me now.

I've been rather ineffectual until now, targeting Ex Rex, Lander, and Godders in that order. Due to there being one mafia as of last night:

GODDERS IS A VILLAGER.

That leave markets, Lander, and Scar. It's less likely to be Lander, as Riptide would have to have made the kill N2. With the more constant amount of pressure that has been on him, it's less likely he was doing both investigating and killingLander is thus probably a villager. This is, therefore, what I propose:

We kill market today. I will be roleblocking Scar. If nobody dies, we kill him the next day.

I'm fine with killing market, he has been acting scummy ever since his spat with Kik. But bear in mind if we screw up today then tomorrow will be Lynch or Lose. I'm going to point to my continual push against Riptide as proof i'm a villager and suggest targeting someone else with your ability so you don't waste it.

What else is there to say, Market? I agree with your reasoning, but it seems you're just trying to buy yourself some time. You're 2/3 votes now, if you've got a role, say so.

Monk. You're smart enough for a fake claim. It could pay dividends for you at this stage in the game. I'm very alarmed that you weren't on Riptide's lynch train, and also that you were always coming to his defense. Though it seems to me that you'd be smarter than that if you WERE mafia, I could easily be mistaken.

Is bullcrap. Way to slyly try to get the target off your back. Here's how I see it. Ex Rex is dead. Monk is claiming Jailer. Assuming he's telling the truth, Riptide's partner WAS on his train. You're certainly smart enough to bus one of your own, especially if it's riptide. Given his shoddy play early on, it would be an easy decision to see him lynched to make yourself seem innocent.

At this point, I don't trust anyone. Can you tell? I'll certainly give Market Man another chance to post, otherwise following Monk's plan seems (inevitably) the best course of action. I doubt I'll be able to rally anyone to lynch him on a false claim, so let's hope to high hell that he's telling the truth.

...thats pretty much EXACTLY what im doing. if there is a detective in this game, he would most likely have investigated me.
thats pretty much my only hope. as a common villager, i dont have a special role that i can prove.


.....you realize that if monk is mafia.... he wins with his plan.
lynch me today, thats 4 remain.
night kill leaves 3.(monk, scar, and 1 other remain)
since "scar the mafia" killed in the night, he gets lynched that day.
game over. 1 mafia remains, 1 villager.


also, every post i have seen made by monk has been the next thing to grammatically flawless...... except after he claims godders to be villager.

Frankly, and take no offense, a detective role would not have investigated you. There are more high-profile players in this game whose identities need to be checked as they are more dangerous as scum.

You could easily be grasping at straws with your reasoning about his grammar, but frankly, there are better reasons to believe he is scum. It is uncharacteristic, you're right. But should it be considered scummy?
