I'll state it again. 3/5 votes on someone without any legit reason doesn't bode well for anyone involved.

Riptide

For putting someone that close to lynch with no substantial reasoning to speak of.

I told you it was 3/5 votes on me and you responded by quoting me. It was kept track of for you, you tried to justify it.
I guess I can go ahead and put off Rex for a while with what's probably a pretty obvious Riptide attempting to use a joke as a reason to lynch an established power player.

Two hours ago is effectively Twilight.
Fun times. No lynch in a game where our only weapon is assuredly said lynch.

I don't know if this time still counts, but i'm gonna unvote Market Man6, because i personally don't think my original thoughts for voting for him measure anywhere near the size of what Riptide has said.

As of 10:30 Eastern time yesterday, any votes or unvotes don't count. I could've voted for Kikori and put myself back at 3/5, wouldn't matter. Game rules say we're officially going to bed. I still want an answer from Market, but my first target tomorrow is easily Riptide.

answer for what bro?

i have heard that line twice in the last 4 years. once when i said it. once when you copied.
seemed odd that you would have chose that to say.
didnt seem like you were being yourself.
so why dont you want to be yourself?

:suspicious: :?:

........anything else you want answers to?

You've never seen me play, last I recall. Let alone seen the majority of the games I've played. How could it be odd for me to say something in my first game back after a long break?
Why is it a coincidence to say "We need to get something going" in any given fashion?
And most importantly, are you joking about this train of thought? Is this train of thought seriously your only reason for having a vote for me?

its not odd that you say SOMETHING.
its odd that you say almost exactly the same thing.

because i dont belive it is.
Coincidence, A remarkable concurrence of events without apparent causal connection, is not what this seems to be. there is a connection. i believe you got it from me.
which made me think why you would do that. why would you copy the behavior of others.

and its not any given fashion. they are so closely paralleled.

Kikori wrote:

joking? no.
only reason? yes. i dont have to much more to go on, seeing as its only day one.

By that proxy, any nocturnal detective lines should earn suspicion on the grounds of being identical.
Anyone who tries to encourage activity using similar statements should earn suspicion.
Anyone who copies a question because they agree with its importance enough to mimic it should earn suspicion for lack of originality.
Is my understanding of your logic mistaken?

You believe I got it from you because you want to. I believe I came out with it myself because I wanted to, as stated, get SOMETHING rolling. Discussion, votes, accusations, claims. Momentum in any direction is helpful.
So, although I doubt you'll choose to believe it due to having an ego about your originality, your point is moot. They're paralleled by coincidence. Nothing more.

Market Man6 wrote:

joking? no.
only reason? yes. i dont have to much more to go on, seeing as its only day one.

It's day one, yet there have been numerous different targets for votes, numerous suspicions thrown around (not just by myself, though you may have to read between the lines in some others' posts), and the fact that I GOT OVER HALFWAY TO LYNCHED BY JOKE VOTES ALONE. Once again I quote.
Landerpurex wrote:

Legit danger with no reason is nothing but trouble. It leaves joking villagers under suspicion and a person with no suspicion close to dead. If you've done any research over four years of games' worth of topics, you'd know who's a high priority target or not. Losing such a target to joke votes, as conceited as it sounds to call myself such, is far more suspicious than me stating something that only somewhat resembles something you stated.

So now I've got target number two. You're serious about a vote against a power player based solely off their aesthetics, not their logic. Riptide put a power player over halfway to lynch in a small game where lynches are easier when activity is present. Both of these behaviors heavily suggest "The opportunity is there, let's just give it a shot and see if we can kill him. If we fail to lynch him, it was just 'day one spam' is our backup."

I host, and always have hosted, under the rule that anything past the day-end deadline still counts up until I actually initiate the night-phase. Be wary.

Final Votes:

Monk Basher
Landerpurex
Kikori Kid - Kikori Kid
Market Man6 - Kikori Kid
Ex Rex - Kikori Kid
Riptide
Godders
DaleX99s - Monk Basher
Scar - Riptide

Suspicions are cast Kikori's way, but nobody is sure enough to take any action in the first day. The villagers shuffle off to bed.

Night One Begins. Night roles, PM me. Night ends at 4:30 AM EST (lol) on April 1st.

Or now.

Kikori Kid's door is found bashed in. He lies crumpled on the wall opposite, his chest filled with bullet holes. A knife lies on the ground a few inches from his hand. It seems he tried in his last moments to protect his family. His wife is in no better shape than he, however. The children are nowhere to be found.

Kikori Kid - Villager, Killed Night One

The villagers reconvene, shaken at what occurred in the night.

Day Two begins. Eight players remain, five votes to lynch. The day ends at 9:00 PM EST on Monday, April 2nd.

Going to hold with my vote on Riptide for now, he blatantly lied about not knowing how many votes Kik had on him.

FoS on marketman6, even though he is a less experienced player I don't think he is daft enough to night-kill the guy he was just arguing with. Still, his "logic" he was throwing around in that argument stunk hard.

Market, you aren't the first person in the history of mafia to ever make a comment about getting something going. Insisting that Jeff was copying you is incredibly narcissistic and stupid.

Can't say I'm surprised.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if it were a knee-jerk kill and Riptide and/or Market Man were part of the mafia. Both are nooby, and neither would be able to withstand kikori's assault for long, IMHO.

I'm also concerned with Monk's silence...in a game full of new players, his input is going to be valued yet we hardly heard from him yesterday.

Withholding my vote for now, but it'll surely be cast by the end of the day.

My input? On day one? Worth as much as anyone's.

Now? I have ideas.

Kik's 16 posts yesterday made him an obvious target. Any doctor would've been foolish to not protect him. I think it's safe to say that we're without the luxury of one. That means we have a detective and/or a jailkeeper. Applying the same logic to the jailkeeper, however, his abduction should functionally save a targeted person just the same as a doctor would. Therefore, all we have is our detective.

Regarding Kik's killing: Generally, by this many games, being killed this early means you're wrong more often than it means you're right. Kik's always been the tenacious type; once he focuses on a target, he doesn't let go until proven otherwise. Knowing this, a veteran player is likely to kill Kik, both to put us on the wrong track and to get rid of another veteran.

Lander, your language and post frequency fits your mafia pattern. I'm betting you're the senior member of the mafia pair.

Final note to the newer guys: If Lander, Scar, or I survive today without a proven role, kill us. We've all, along with Kik, seen enough games to play you. Don't let us.

My language and post frequency? Way to be specific. :?:

Frankly, I'm still riding on my success from last game. I'm feeling carefree. It seems this isn't going to last, as well it shouldn't; it would seem.

I had nothing to say yesterday. Kikori was being himself, though I daresay he was being more aggressive than usual on D1. Chalk that up to a long absence from the game. For once, I was content to sit back and watch what happened rather than get mired up in his nonsense. Sometimes even I get tired of doing all the town's gruntwork.

I posted four times yesterday (admittedly some were spam, hehe). How many times did you? Way to turn my argument against me. Add the fact that you waste an awful lot of time speculating on roles and what they're doing and you don't look so innocent.

I'm flattered, really. :ura: Be aware that I know what you're doing, and it's only going to waste time. Your end result will be achieved, though. Hopefully.
