Goten is dead!

Heya Goten! I've always admired your artwork, but I hardly ever venture into the picture forums so I thought the sprites were for elite members of RV, heh.

I despise Jagex for how they handled things, much like you do. In light of RV's new focus, I'd love a sprite of Squall Leonhart from FFVIII, my favorite video game character of all time, from one of my favorite games of all time. I sported Penguinguy's sig of Squall for some time, and recently decided I needed a change but I'd like to display the iconic character still.

I want the following pose:



With your very unique flair. And I understand this will probably take quite a long time as you'll be doing quite a lot of it from scratch, so it is likely I would be inclined to throw some dollars your way. Of course, I'm not real set on having the sprite stand any particular way so anything you'd like to change to make it easier/faster is fine by me, as long as it's clearly Squall and has all of his characteristics and gunblade.

I had to adjust the position of the gunblade to fit the 150px height signature limit, but otherwise I tried to get it as close to the reference pic as possible.

I can't say for sure. I started around 2:30 pm and finished around 6:30pm, but I took a few breaks in between.

I'd probably say around 3 hours or so.

Do you want it as a similar model? Like squared/pixelated? Or do you want a high-detail adaption similar to the rest of the characters I've made?

Sure Loudawg, honestly I kind of hate how your first one turned out so I was planning to offer you a do-over anyway. (I'm thinking about touching up a lot of the older ones actually since the newer ones are getting more detailed - heads/faces especially.)

Rexbro PMed me a request last night though so he's first. In the mean time, let me know what pose you want (like Rat King's, Rory's, or just holding the pickaxe at your side?).
