Server info:
Hostname: vent14.gameservers.com
Port: 4245
Password: rv


Don't have Ventrilo installed? Here's how to install and set it up:
1.) Download the client from: http://ventrilo.com/download.php
2.) Install
3.) Open Ventrilo
4.) Click the -> next to username.
5.) Click New
6.) Enter the username you want to use.
7.) Click ok.
8.) Click the -> arrow next to server. (directly below the one for username)
9.) Click new
10.) Type in whatever nickname you want to give the server. (can be whatever you want)
11.) Type in the sever info from above into Hostname, Port, and password boxes.
12.) Click ok.

And you should be good to go! By default, push to talk is enabled, and mouse 1 is the default push to talk key/button. Click Setup to change it to your preference.

EDIT: Server is being cancelled at end of billing period.

Awesome last time I used Ventrilo, I think it was with a Zybez server, before I joined RV... and I really wanted this to happen here too, but it never has until now.

I'll try to make it work tomorrow.

Also, each time I log in, no one is on.
I have been on at various times betewen 5am-noon UK time(noon-7 for me!) Over the past few days. Is this maybe a slow time of day to use? Am I not doing something right? I believe I am in the RV chat, with the +tf2 or +minecraft subgroups...

Can you hook up Apple earbuds as a microphone? Like, the default ones that come with an ipod. Or do you have to get some newer one...I don't know, and even if I did I know nowhere to begin to hook it up.

Other than that I have other mics, but like...ACTUAL microphones. For karoke and stand-up comedy and the works. Probably wouldn't be efficient to use.

Apple earbuds include a microphone. It's on the back of the remote part, which typically hangs just to the right of your mouth.
