Not sure what its called, but its something like a Shoutbox placed on top of the forum displaying some of the latest posts and topics, it will be useful to have it, so we can see some of the popular topics and latest topics etc.

Do you mean the "active topics" and "new topics" links in your top right corner? Beside my posts, username changes, user groups

yup thats what im referring to, the links up there sort of hardly get noticed in my opinion

I taken a screenshot from tip.it forum see screenshot here http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/717/postsw.jpg/ they have the latest posts and the username of the member who post it etc which I find it very useful and more interactive, perhaps RuneVillage want to consider having it?? And also I think if this feature is added, the forum might see an increase in its activity

To be honest, I've always ignored stuff like that, even scrollers and tickers, etc. if you know what I mean, but that's just me...

This may not be a bad idea at all for helping the forums a bit!

It could help out new topics a bit, I suppose. I've seen forums do things like that, and it helps me notice announcements that I usually miss. I'd be willing to give it a shot.

Oh man Jan, you just got zinged by Riptide. How much does THAT suck?

Well, statistically speaking, slightly more than a giant suckusaur. A dire one.
