failed high school. Too much time on video games. Not enough on homework.

So I'm getting a GED and heading to a community college called ICC here in Illinois. Then I'm hoping to transfer to a higher school. Been thinking about DeVry.

I'm going to be getting an Associates Degree in Game Design <3! I'm pretty excited about it to be honest. The only thing is I don't know if I should take the Shakespeare, J.R.R.Tolkien, or Mythology Course.

Hopefully It won't be too hard to get a job in the gaming field.

And for those of you wondering about my debt issue: me going to college apparently lets her get her 401k. Don't know how much it is but my mom said it should easily help our debt issue if we ended up needing it. So far we're still sliding by. Dad got work again and I've gotten more hours at the grocery store I work at and my mom's boss said she was going to start paying my mom's cellphone bill and give her extra money for gas. Mom said she likes to talk bigger than she really can though but it's still help if it happens. But yeah if things take a bad turn again we can get the 401k either some time this year or when I decide to transfer schools. Which if I have to for us to get the 401k I will.

Take the Mythology course. Or shakespeare... Tolkien would be a bit boring since it would just be LOTRLOTRLOTRLOTRLOTRLOTRLOTRLOTR.

I'd take the mythology one. You could get some great ideas for video games.

Also, the Tolkien one would probably be everything except for LOTR.

one of the kids I know got his GED this year at the beginning of school (11th grade) after everyone was laughing about how he was probably home playing halo 3

he got a 95 on the practice test without studying lol
