Hey guys.

Well its pretty much been 6-8 months since I was last on RV or played RS and it looks to me like I've missed out on a heck of a lot.

Can anyone give me a crash course to getting back into the swing of things again? E.g what have I missed out on and what I should be doing.

Help would be much appreciated.

Well...I can't help you much with RS as I don't play it.

As for RV, well it's pretty straight-forward, you come here to hang out and get RS help if you need it. Not too much more to us, we haven't changed our nature in over 5 years.

Since you were here last though we got a new Chat. Also, clan chats were added to RS, ours is called "RV CC".

Hey Bex,

Firstly, welcome back. Great to have you back aboard.

Secondly, with RuneScape, six to eight months is quite awhile, but it shouldn't be too hard to adapt to the changes. The most significant update without doubt would be the removing of unbalanced trade. You can read up about it here, but in a nutshell, they removed the ability to trade large amounts of money from one account to another. This was made to stop autoers (which it did), but it also stopped the ability for people to give their friends gifts and such.

PKing was also removed, and the Wilderness had a massive face-lift. Revenants now lurk the Wilderness, instead of the former PKers. Fear not, they're questionably just as annoying and dangerous. Jagex is making new PvP mini-games to help the players, they currently have Clan Wars and Bounty Hunter. They will also be adding a third mini-game shortly.

Other than that, it's basically quests and the new January release of the Summoning skill.

At RuneVillage, not a lot has changed in that time frame, other than what Tweedy has mentioned, and promotions.

Busy with school work ATM, but I'm cutting yews (cut 2-3k so far) with 250k XP to level 88.
