Well, my MP3 only has 46 songs on it. I'm getting bored of most of them and I want some more variety. Heres some of the bands that I have on it.

Trivium
Avenged Sevenfold
Atreyu
Alexisonfire
Dragonforce
Pink Floyd
Deftones
and some rap.

I am looking for mostly rock-alternative-metal type stuff. Although I'll take anything. Post a band or some songs you think I should check out and I'll watch them all on youtube tomorrow.

Thanks.

In flames, their Reroute to Remain CD you might like. If you like that try out Come Clarity, another gooden. Also P.O.D, Flyleaf, Incubus, Smashing pumpkins, really can't go wrong with those.

Before the dawn have confirmed for Wacken. They're ok. Nothing too spectacular though.

Rush = Great. Added Closer to the heart and YYZ to my MP3, Thanks!

Alterbridge = Pretty good. I like their song called Rise Today.

Dream Theater = Don't like them at all... Too soft for me.

Soundgarden = Listened to them before. They are alright.

Shinedown = Don't really like them, only song I would even think about listening to again is staring down the barrel of a .45

Velvet Revolver = My brother has their cd, I'll give that a listen later.

STP = Great band. Added Down and Interstate Love Song to my MP3

Foo Fighters = I forgot how good these guys were. I'll add Best Of You and My Hero

Eldritch = Their My Sharona cover was really good. I also like their song Reverse. Both are going on my MP3.

Before The Dawn = They are average. I kind of like "Deadsong"

Kalmah = The lyrics are a little too harsh. I like the instrumentals, though.

Angra = Don't really like them, sorry.

Alright guys, this is taking longer then I thought. I'll listen to the rest later.

I think you can't go wrong with Billy Talent.

The first album(Billy Talent is heavier than their 2nd one, you may only like the first.

I used to listen to Billy Talent, they're old to me now.

Well, other then the songs I already commented on. I like The Bled, Saosin and Underoath. Added some songs from them to my MP3.

Waiting for more suggestions.

Which songs did you listen to? They're way heavier than Rush is, kind of ironic that you'd say they're too soft. Try listening to the songs Under a Glass Moon, The Dark Eternal Night, Constant Motion, As I Am, Honor Thy Father, Endless Sacrifice. Any of those should be pretty heavy, especially the last three.

Breaking Benjamin. Breath, Diary of Jane, Breakdown are all good songs by them
In Flames. (I think some already suggested this) But My Sweet Shadow, Trigger, Cloud Connected and Dismiss the Cynics are all good songs by them.

That's all that comes to mind atm.
