You're totally a few weeks behind.
The Dark Knight is so July 18.
It's all about the new X Files movie....which I have yet to see.

And I'll be watching 'Troy' tonight, I haven't seen it all the way through.
But my friend said there's a lot of Brad Pitt @$s. How could I pass that up?

does that count as that "bypassing the filter thing? I hope not
:D

I'm still seeing TDK on Friday for the second time 'cause this is my last chance to see one of my best friends before she leaves for another year. Still, it's a good movie. Not complaining.

Oh, and X-Files is horrible.

I saw the Dark Knight a couple days ago if that counts.

I was going into this movie expecting Ledgers performance to be "overhyped" for some reason. I don't know, I just saw everyone praising him so much for this movie and I just said "naw he couldn't have been that good."

But god damn, he is that good. It was like... you couldn't even tell it was an actor. He seemed real, which is something I don't see in a lot of actors. He really made the Joker seem like a lunatic... terrorist... crazy dude. And he just commits crime after crime after crime in this movie, which is EXACTLY what I wanted. I felt Batman Begins got too boring because there was too stuff much in between in the action. And that ninja crap and everything that took up like the first hour of the movie... yawn. And that's all I'm watching the movie for, action. The Dark Knight was just full of almost non stop action (for the second half of the movie at least).

I loved how it wasn't just like.. the Joker bombs a building, then he spends the next 2 weeks planning his next attack and everyone is looking for his hideout and all that stupid stuff. Hell no. Instead this guy is just blowing anything up whenever he feels like it. He'll blow up an orphanage, kidnap the president and shoot an old lady in the face in the same hour. Total badass.

At this point I would point out a certain scene involving the Joker and say something like "that was so awesome my head exploded" but I doubt I could point out anything no one has already laud extensively over.

I would give this movie a 9/10

I just watched Forgetting Sarah Marshall and the Darkknight. Both wonderfully written movies. Strongly recommended.

TDK was worse the second time around, although I caught some stuff that I hadn't seen before.

Also, the part where they're transporting Dent in the armored truck convoy and Joker attacks is just so badass because it ends with the semi truck flipping over.

Die Hard 3 sucked compared to the rest. By Die Hard standards it was bad. By normal movie standards, it was great.

I disagree. I'd say 1, 4, 2, 3. LFoDH was awesome, but you can't beat the original.

The Kingdom was filmed in my uncle's office building, but I still haven't seen it

Hai. I saw Iron Man on the plane, finally.

It was cool. It just had that freakin' "cool" throughout the whole movie. And Robert Downey Jr. was great.

Also, I liked the ending.

And yet, it was slightly cheesy. Especially the shot at the end of Obadiah in his Iron Monger suit with the helmet off.

"Definitely, Maybe"

I liked the way the movie was made. It's a story in a story where a father tells her daughter about his visit in NY and his relationships and career (Work in Bill Clinton's Campaign) in the past. Oh and the movie is Romance/Comedy.

Yep, I saw pineapple express last night.
I thought it was really funny, but it seems like one of those movies that won't have much replay value after a few times watching it.
Superbad is better.

And that trailer for that 'College' movie was the worst thing I've ever seeen.

You should also check out the 'Sex and the City' movie.
sounds like your type of film :D
kiddin'

I watched 'Mr. & Mrs. Smith' last night, and I thought it was pretty good. Started off kinda slow, but it picked up and was enjoyable. The ending kinda dragged on though. Also found the 2 disc special edition on amazon for 10 bucks :D

Then today I watched 'The Break Up' & 'Transporter 2'
Break Up was pretty good, I enjoy Vince Vaughn in most of his movies, so I had to watch it. Jennifer Aniston is hot also, so that's a bonus. Even though I guess this counts as a 'chick flick', but I don't care too much, as long as they are more of a comedy then complete drama.

Transporter 2 I've seen before, and it's good. Not as good as the first one, but still pretty good.
Just mindless action stuff.
Although I hate the scene where he goes off a ramp, flips upside down, and perfectly gets the bomb off the bottom of the car with the hook from the crane or whatever. That was the line between plausible and just.....dumb.
Jason Statham is my homie.

Because you realized Jason Statham was sexy and you felt uncomfortable about it?

Happens to all of us.
