Your thoughts?

I pick A

As for Reggie Bush, slightly overrated but not by much. He is good but he is no Barry Sanders/Emmit Smith/Tiki Barber/etc.

I'm going to pick D. I guess neither of you watched the playoff game and/or the Pats during the regular season. The Pats were winning, they just didn't finish the game. They were missing some of their best defensive players all year. Also, they didn't have any #1 receivers, but now they do. They don't need to do anything drastic to "keep up" with the Colts, as they're already as good as them, if not better after this off-season. As for Reggie Bush, again, he was a rookie last year. You can't compare him to anyone after one year of football running behind another good RB. That's just silly.

The Patriots made some really nice off-season moves. Especially by gaining Randy Moss. But the Denver Broncos are my team, so I think they will take it this year.

ok i saw a few things first off:

I havent heard much comparison of reggie bush to barry sanders, ive beard more comparison to Gale Sayers, who is one of the great running backs to ever live, second behind the great walter payton for the bears.

Secondly, Troy Smith fell so far, but he is playing a quarterback, if i remember correctly, Nebraska quarterback won the hiesman a long time ago 1996, or 1998, and he isnt playing now, he got drafted late as a wide receiver.

lastly, the lions will win the superbowl. Jon Kitna put up good numbers last year, for having no protection. The lions brought in key help from other places to fix the offencive line, and now they got 2 PROVEN playmaker receivers. I heard an interview with Calvin Johnson, and he said he wanted to be remembered as mix between Cris Carter, and Jerry Rice. The defencive secondary scares me like it usually does because now we dont even have dre bly to help it, but oh well. LIONS WILL GO TO THE SUPERBOWL THIS YEAR.

Detroit is such a great sports city, we got great sports teams, Red Wings, Pistons, Tigers. Now if only michigan had an NFL team....lol

see even jon kitna knows what hes talking about. he will be the starter for atleast 2 more years, than Drew Stanton will distroy the nfc north untill they lose a heart breaking game, and than the season will go down the crapper, just like every michigan state season he played in

Reggie Bush isn't a Gale Sayers halfback.

And you're thinking of Eric Couch. He was drafted as a Wide Reciever, then was converted to a safety by the Rams and the last I knew he was over in NFLE.

Well he isn't in Europe now since the NFLE season is over and it no longer exists :-s

I wish the AFL (Australian Football League) got as much intrest as this. Shame There is only a few Aussies lurking around these boards :(

The only game of NFL we ever get on TV down under is the superbowl which is on a crappy station that never has good reception so it looks like it is snowing during the entire game, we also only get shown about 5 of the superbowl adverts... but as a sports fan in general I get up at 7am to watch it once a year :P

Eagles for premiers '07! (No I am not talking about philidelphia, I am still talking about the AFL as our season ends in september :D )

You haven't lived unless you can watch Michigan and Ohio State battle it out in the snow... Or watching Alabama and Auburn just rip families apart. That is real American football is all about.

Lots of stuff to say.
-Mike Vick; getting lots of action with the government and the NFL; most likely to be backup to Joey Harrington  Lol!
-Detroit Lions wide out Calvin Johnson will get a lot of action as he will be at the opposite end of Roy Williams; don't expect him to get more than 8 touchdowns because o-line is terrible
-Donovan Mcnabb is still in pain from his show off "tumble roll" and the Eagles will be in a lot of trouble now that Jeff Garcia is gone

I have much more to come, since I will be checking Yahoo Sports and ESPN for updates

To Frank: I have to agree with you there. Watching Michigan and Ohio State is one hell of a football game as it is some nasty rivalry. Likewise with the Colts and Patriots as they usually always battle it out in the Playoffs for some spot.
