The Saints will be the same team they were last year give or take a couple wins/losses.

The only way they'll get better is through the draft. Many people expect them to take a defensive linemen, but CB is a much more glaring problem. If Chris Houston or Darrelle Revis falls to them, they've got to pick him up. Though if all the first-round CBs are gone, then they're going to have to pick up a DT and hope to score a good CB through free agency.

They'll probably look somewhere deep in the draft to fill their #3 QB spot (possibly with Drew Tate or Tyler Palko) as well as a young replacement for Joe Horn. I'm expecting them to take care of their offensive line situation (the depth they lack at it) probably in the third-fourth round, and probably take a tight end second.

Calvin Johnson! :D You'd think I'd be mad, picking the 4th WR in the past 5 years. But Calvin Johnson is different... This guy is a beast. I would prefer we trade his rights, but I wouldn't mind if we kept him :D

Roy Williams, Mike Furrey, Shaun McDonald and Calvin Johnson. That is an amazing corp of WR's. :D

You mean throw the ball? Jon Kitna for this year. Martz has been developing Dan Orlovsky, but we'll likely take a QB in the second round (Beck, Stanton, Edwards). :-s

And they took Spencer! Stupid move by Dallas. If they absolutely needed to trade up, with your division rival also, take someone more valuable like Robert Meachum or Dwayne Jarret. Spencer probably could have dropped to the second round.

All Dallas did was put depth on the team. We got a 2nd, 3rd and 5th pick out of them

Calvin Johnson, now Drew Stanton! :D Great first round so far. Now maybe we can finnish off the 3rd round with maybe... Buster Davis and Tanard Jackson. :-s I think we may have to trade up to get Buster Davis though...

Eagles took QB Kevin Kolb with the first pick. I think we took him way too soon.

Way too soon. It wasn't even the right QB! Trent Edwards, if anyone, should have been the Eagles QB pick. But instead, he falls farther than Brady Quinn, Aaron Rodgers and Ernest Shazor combined.

Calvin Johnson - WR
Drew Stanton - QB
Ikaika Alama-Francis - DE
Gerald Alexander - CB/S

Very solid picks so far. All we need now is a MLB. If Millen can pull off H.B. Blades in the second day, I'll be a happy panda. :-s

We also finally got rid of Mike Williams and Josh McCown... Can't wait to see the massive cap hit for that one, Millen! And for a 4th round pick, only to trade it away.

Redskins sure like to trade draft picks away. Only one first day draft pick.

Except Jason White won the Heisman. A QB winning the National Championship but going undrafted isn't all that farfetched. A Heisman winner going undrafted though is very rare.

So Randy Moss going to the Patriots:

A) Desperate move to keep up with the Colts.
B) Trying to bring more money to the franchise.
C) Both A and B
D) None of the above

Your thoughts?

I pick A

As for Reggie Bush, slightly overrated but not by much. He is good but he is no Barry Sanders/Emmit Smith/Tiki Barber/etc.
