Indy scored something like 32 points in the second half? Fun stuff.

So Indy vs. Chicago, that'll be pretty nice. Bears are gonna rock 'em.

GO BEARS!

No team does more with less than the Pats, Peyton has like 5 good receivers and pats don't really have any. Anyhow was a nice entertaining game, and again GO BEARS!

Ya because Reche Caldwell, Troy Brown, Jabar Gaffney, and Ben Watson are just SOO HORRIBLE!!!! Just because they aren't talked about everyday doesn't mean they're bad. Just go home Brady Believer. :?

At least I'll have a team to root for now.

Never said they were horrible, but look at how open Harrison always is, and if he aint open it is due to double coverage and someone else is wide open. When you see brady complete a pass it is normally a laser between coverage, when you see peyton complete one it is usually a WIDE OPEN receiver, if that aint talent then what is?

I also want to bring this up. LT brought New England not having any "class". I think he was right

Brady headed for the tunnel ASAP and Belichick barely acknowledged The Colts players he greated

Bad Coverage. Good Playcalls. :-s

Oh, guess that's why Colt's recievers were so wide open tonight.

Peyton still has to be good enough to read the defense and figure out where that open receiver will be and then get the ball there.

I hope the Bears win. Just don't like the Colts is all.

So are the Saints fans crying scam yet?

I wasn't taking about tonight... the pats did a good job covering the colts receivers better than most teams. I am talking about every single game for the past say 3-4 years lol. Probably more.

So, how about that bs roughing the passing call which gave the colts half the distance to the goaline and led to the Addai touchdown? I think that rule should be changed. The Patriots didn't have Harrison and Hawkins got injured which meant we had to cover Dallas Clark with terrible special teams linebackers and back-up safeties. Result: we get shredded.

Basically, some unlucky calls, unlucky injuries, and some stupid playcalling lost us the game.

@KmjHawk

You have no idea what your talking about. It wasn't bad coverage, it was bad personnel and bad defensive schemes combined with overall confusion because of crowd noise.

Gaffney is a terrible wide-receiver overall, who just wasn't covered by the Chargers, Reche Caldwell drops passes and misruns routes in between blinking his eyes weirdly, and Brown and Watson just can't change the outcome of the game by themselves. Both are terrific players, but they can't do everything alone. Add on a subpar performance from Brady in some situations and bad results occur.

The Patriots don't win because of individual talent, they win because of a team effort and if some parts of the machine are broken, then everything collapses. Case in point with the defence, you just can't have Eric Alexander cover Dallas Clark in those situations.

Roughing the passer is the stupidest rule in the game right now, next thing we know they will have unnecessary sneezing on the passer. He tapped peyton in his helmet, and they got what 11 yards on the play? Total and udder BS. Obviously that isn't what lost the pats the game, it was the Brady int that lost it. But that touchdown possibly wouldn't have happened if not for that stupid call.

Oh well better luck next year pats!

The Patriots were INCREDIBLE when guarding our (I saw our because I'm a Colts fan and from Indianapolis) receivers. I've never seen so many big passes broken up.

The Patriots are a very respectable team...they play very well and are great in many aspects of the game.

The only thing that I hate about the Patriots is Belichick. He's a jerk. I would use other words, but...I'll refrain. I understand that he would be upset after such a tough loss, (even though it was an amazing game by both teams) but walking right past Manning as Manning tried to shake his hand was a b*tch move. You'd think he'd be a bit more congratulatory towards the Colts, too. Something along the lines of, "We've won 3 of the past 5 SuperBowls and we thought we were invincible. The Colts greatly deserve it after such an incredible effort during this season and this championship game. I congratulate Coach Dungy and his team. We were outplayed, and that's our only excuse."

But no, he was a complete jerk about it. I don't care what people say about Brady...he really doesn't bother me. I'm a Colts fan, and I'll admit that, so I have somewhat of a bias, but I think most of America and even people in New England agree with me when I say that Coach Belichick needs to get the stick out of his rear and show some sportsmanship and respect.

The rest of the team is great. Yes, I wanted the Colts to win. No, I don't particularly like the Patriots, but I will admit it is as much of a grudge as I have against the Yankees. Much of my bias comes from their past success in the playoffs and SuperBowl. Most of it comes from Belichick being a jerk.

Belichek's pretty arrogant, but I don't think he would purposely not shake Manning's hand. I didn't see this moment, but maybe Belichek didn't see him? He must have been pretty jaded; he doesn't lose much.

Hmm... For some reason I feel this is going to be a Raiders-Buc's Super bowl Repeat... Best Offense in the league favored over the best Defense in the league, then the Raiders get destroyed.... I see the Bears winning, but I WANT the Colts to win :(

That's very similar to what I'm thinking, Frost.

30-13 Colts
