Just a question, is there anything you can do to prevent yourself from getting items?

I have done 30 runs, and i haven't gotten a single barrow item..lol....unlucky?doubt it..i'm Irish?!

But yah, any help would be appreciated!

Glad to hear that your dedicated to the pillaging of the Barrows!!

As for anything stopping you from getting drops, I would have to say ...no. Sorta.

Possably if you got absolutely no kills.

The drops are supposedly based on what brothers you kill. The more brothers you kill, the better your chance of getting a drop (although it's still something less than a 10% chance). So based on that criteria, I would say that if you opened the chest without killing any of the brothers, you would have no chance of a drop.

Again, that is me assuming what I have heard and that is that the drops you get are based on the brothers you kill..

Thats a good task for somebody to take on. I might try that sometime, make like 50 runs without killing a brother and see what I get. Hmmm, anybody tried that yet?

There was a dry streak from 32-61, but the lucky, mystical and magical Rarius got 4 items in the next 2 runs. Maybe that will be you next

Thanks for the tips rarius, but I've trained quite a bit on dagganoths and never got any arrows from them.... (you are talking about the ones underneath the lighthouse right?)

I've kept my KC at 14 each run. On a dry streak of 23 trips so far, but hopefully I might get something. I got 2 Barrows items and 2 teeth halves so far though. On trip 41 right now, I count my trips in total, since my 1st ever trip.

Anyway first barrows trip today, meesed up making the log but oh well. I need rannars though whats the best way to get them with no cost?

Blaze, i think that the choas druids make be a quick and easy way to get rannars. They drop herbs every second! Not really.

Best series of runs ever with 16 drops, that’s a Brother drop every 6.25 runs. By far, way above normal.

And finally, a Guthan Chainskirt.
I now have complete sets of every Barrow Brother that were acquired as drops. For those that didn’t read it all, it took me 997 trips to the Barrows to get at least 1 of each of the 24 pieces.

Thats 997 Trips in case you missed it the first time. Thats 5982 brothers killed before I had every drop at least once.

I will most likely be posting some pieces and sets of Barrow Armor to sell in the Marketplace in the next few days if anybody is interested. I went to world 2 last night after I finished my 1000th run and bought a 2nd Guthan Skirt which gave me a complete second set which I will most likely sell as well. I have at least 1 spare set of everything except Veracs. 6 flails but only 1 Brassard - go figure.

I am also compiling the data right now to post either today or tomorrow that will break down the data more than I already have. Paying particular attention to KC vs item drops in relation to absolutes and averages.

As a go forward, I plan to do some more Barrow runs in the future, but right now I want to catch up on some quests and do a couple things I haven’t done yet. I have never been to Pest Control or the Warrior’s Guild. I have 4 quests in mind that I want to get done and several skills I want to get up. Plus I really miss some good solid Melee combat. The Barrow’s is fun and all, but I’m not a Mage or Ranger at heart, I love the up close blood sweat and tears of combat and I look forward to seeing my buddy the slayer master. It’s been too long since I talked to him.

But lets keep hearing about the rest of you guys and gals that are sticking it to the Barrow Brothers right proper.
