Yes, you read right, could the Naruto Fillers finally be coming to an end? Well I went to http://www.narutocentral.com to download the latest manga, and it says that the new series, Naruto: Hurricane Chronicles, will be airing on Feb. 15, the apparent end to the fillers, here is what narutocentral announced:



I googled this and some other sites, mostly fansites, nothing official yet, agree to this date and the name. So could this be the real end or is this just another rumor? This one sounds a bit more official then the others, if anyone could provide a more official statement that would be much appreciated!

From what I hear, there was an official announcment in Shonen Jump that they would be ending on Feb. 15, and man am I happy. I've been reading the manga since I caught up with the anime and soon caught up with that, so I've been following the manga each week waiting for the Naruto fillers to end.

After one of the longest filler periods in anime history, It's almost too good to be true. I'm almost wondering if they finally decided that they're stretching the whole three month period a bit too much, so they're doing the time-skip and continuing with fillers. XD Man, that would bite.

I'm kind of wondering if they plan on doing the Kakashi Gaiden.. I mean, that was to seperate Naruto from Naruto II, but if they're having an hour long special to introduce the post time-skip characters, where will they fit the Gaiden in?

I'm thinking that the hour long special will work similar to episode 202 where they showed off the top 5 battles and had the reappearence of Sasuke - you know, the episode had characters relating to eachother in a way that would never happen in the series. I wouldn't be surprised if they show Naruto and Sakura talking to Sasuke in the hour long special going "See how much you changed!" etc.. I sure hope it's not like that.

how is it actually... an event when filler episodes end on a series?

They shoulda just taken a break from making the show rather than just
take up space with pointless crap for how many episodes? Well none of the
shows I watch do this that's for sure.
