3 days until poll closes, I highly doubt it'll hit 500k for no additional fee, so I'm not going to pay $11 a month just to play 2007scape :s

I'll play at least until they decide 100% what the price will be, since they said if it was close enough to 500k, they'd upgrade to that.

If we don't make 500k votes, then 2007 will be an optional extra on top of your monthly membership fee

Hey, not sure if anyone remembers me but I'm back and playing again. Can't wrap my head around the fact it's already been 9 years since I started playing runescape. When I heard the news about the 2007 servers I couldn't resist. IGN is still Killdapandas

From what I know, at 250k votes it will be about $11 a month to play OSR, you cannot just pay for OSR, gotta pay for both.

If we somehow manage to get 500k in the next 2-3 days, it'll be no additional cost.

And they are considering making an option where you don't have to pay for EoC to pay for RS07. But this will probably be decided on after the vote.

A section of the forums for rs07. There would be a lot of topics for item sales, rs07 quest help, training guides etc.

Also, I hope they put scythes and bunny ears back into the game. So people that already have them, can have them once again.

2007 is around the time I quit RS, so I might be tempted to give it another try. I just started playing the normal game again for a bit and am approaching 99 fm, bonfires have made it way too easy now.

Obviously, should player activity decline over the next 6 months rather than grow we would have to introduce an additional $5 membership fee to fund the on going service.

A small development team will remain dedicated to Old School RuneScape, both fixing any issues that crop up and being available to work on tweaks and changes to the game over time. We remain committed to making Old School RuneScape an exclusively community driven service. You can be sure we will not make any design changes to the game without the community voting on it first.

Starting in a few weeks, we’ll have regular polls for the Old School community to decide which changes they do or don’t want made, short listed from your discussions on the Old School Feedback forum. We’ll also be adding in more of the modern anti-bot technology into Old School RuneScape so we can maintain our stance of zero tolerance to cheating, botters and gold farmers
