Jagex hasn't adjusted the cost of membership for Australia compared to other countries, despite our dollar being worth slightly more than the USD. We're around $10 a month.

On what day was RSC released?

It was publicly released on the 4th of January 2001, but it's unknown what exact date that Jagex first started making records of character creation.

Nonsense that this hasn't been at least hinted at yet. I must reiterate though: if the records rely on having MEMBERSHIP for ten years, I won't get this for about six more years. But if there are accessible records of when an account was created and membership in 2002 is no issue, I should be getting it. I have the 5 year cape and the classic cape, yet I haven't been a member for five years...SO! I sincerely hope that I'm able to get this cape when it releases because as it's been said, it will pwn every other cape.

I now wonder if they will be releasing capes every 5 or 10 years, assuming the damn game is still around then.

Too bad my old acc got stolen from my retard friend.

I don't believe they base it on membership at all. I got my 5 year cape on release day, and I've been a member less than 2 years. I think Jagex has always kept records of every player for 1 reason. Even since classic, 1 thing about RuneScape has never changed. When you log on your acount, your stats and game progress are as they were when you last log off. Wouldn't some form of record system be required to make that possible?

Only my main and my 9 HP skiller would qualify for this cape. thats assuming they release the cape around late November or early December :/
