According to Firefox, the universe is a large, white box with the word "Back" below it.
According to Chrome, same thing.

I was checking this out last night when you linked it in Chat. Really darn cool! DNA seems a lot bigger than I thought it was, and I never knew the LHC was 8.6 kilometers around! (Or wide I guess.) Last I heard, Mt. Everest was shrinking extremely slowly though, so I dunno about the blurb on that one.

IE works fine; you can try it there.

Saw the previous version of this years ago. I thought it was interesting. Then I saw the bit about string theory...

Haha. This is incredible! I was grossed out that some amoeba and bacteria can be seen with the naked eye...and I liked the blurb on deep space, it reminded me that when we view things very far away in space, we're actually viewing them as they were uncountable years ago as it takes billions of light years for the image to reach our telescope.

I don't know about FireFox but that's not what causes the issue in Chrome as I don't have adblock or any other form of javascript/ad blocking extension

Regardless, I've seen this mirrored on some other site and it's very cool

Not quite sure if I agree with its claim that some neutrinos can go faster than light, but I suppose it still hasn't been disproved yet (has it?)

Awesome! It makes me feel so small

So the US is bigger than Pluto? :?:

(it took a minute for it to appear for me on chrome.)

Define 'bigger'

For starters, the USA could be said to be 2D (well; its borders) and Pluto is most definitely 3D, if you want to go by surface then the USA has nearly 10 million km² and Pluto has well over 16 million km²

However, it does have a larger diameter, so you could say it is bigger than Pluto in at least one way

Additionally the entire thing is very much on a logarithmic scale, so you have to watch for that...

The measurement used was diameters... however for irregular shapes, diameter usually means longest distance between two points, so I assume that's what they used for places such as the US.
