you need a render with a transparent background.

make a new layer over the background u with to put it over and position the render there. get an airbrush and brush around the render until you get something you're happy with.

Or you just put the render on a new layer, mask it, and use gradients to blend it...

Well also you can take the clone stamp and Alt+click the areas that you want to blend, and brush that way. Fading it a bit helps too. hope that helps ;)

1. Take the picture, use the eraser tool to cut out the background if it has one.
2. Brush the edges with a 30px soft round brush with 30% opacity lightly.
3. Take the lasso tool.
4. Draw a circle around the render but not all the way, near the middle.
5. Left click, press select inverse.
6. Go to feather, about 15px, press delete.
7. The render should now be faded into the background.

If you want the render to match the backgound in color, then desaturate the render. Place it beneath the color balance layers.

I know, it's your first, but even my first time I got the hang of it in about 10 mins. Its really easy, just look at the symbols and you can probably figure out what it does. On the menu, just click one each thing and see what it does, it's not that hard. But did you figure it out, if you still didn't just drag the pic onto the sig, it works.

You don't know how to mask and gradient? Uh... wow.

Break it down...

Paste render on new layer.
Mask the new layer.
Use Black->Transparent Gradient to blend the picture.
