My car, which my sister has been driving while I was away at school:
Image
1998 Pontiac Grand Am SE the one in the picture isn't mine but is very similar except mine is more of a sparkly green, not the nicest car in the world and it has crank windows but it is so much nicer than the old '88 Chevy Blazer i used to drive.

With gas prices rising, and with me living like half a mile from work, I plan to be using this for the most part this summer:

Oh the fuel efficiency \:D/

if that was at me, believe it or not i average 17mpg!!! :D its not that bad ;)
and i do wear a seat belt, for an SUV its not tippy at all. R/T model has wider tires that can pull 0.77G's before losing traction

Wasn't directed at anybody - it's got a small engine, so the fuel efficiency is absolutely insane compared to almost anything 8)
About 40 km per litre, if not a lot more...

According to Google:
40 (kilometers per litre) = 94.0858333 miles per gallon

:smooth:

Edit: Oh and fuel is around 52c US a litre here :P

I own three cars, only drive one.

1999 Plymouth Neon Expresso - Girlfriend drives it.

1995 Plymouth Neon Sport - Currently not running, snapped a timing belt. Waiting to be rebuilt into a 10 second drag car and repainted. 1 of ~400 in this color...ever.

Image

2005 Dodge SRT-4 - My daily driver. Currently in the process of acquiring all the parts for an E-85 conversion, with water injection, and a big wheel stock turbo. I estimate low 12's on drag radials, mid 11's on slicks. Goal for next year.........9's ;)

Image

Image

Also looking at buying a Dodge turbo diesel truck this year and another one......or two SRT's. And of course buy my girlfriend a Jeep Liberty or Patriot.......

An almost ancient mountain bike that I can't bring myself to take a photograph of. I swore off of cars when I bent the steering wheel in half on my last one in a fit of rage.

Wow you guys drive some horrible cars...
I don't own one myself though, as I live in the middle of the city it's not very useful. And parking prices are outrageous here, 5 euros an hour, don't know how much a monthly prescription is, but it's bound to be a lot.

"Its a LOT better then my old car...the 1988 Ford Tempo..with no bumper... horrible"

I used to have a 94 Tempo. The only redeemable traits were that it was agile and could take a beating. Aside from that it's tiny tires got almost no traction, the engine was sluggish at 98hp, it hand the build quality of a toy.

I'm never going back to a 4 cylinder engine again.

far as horrible goes, My taurus is actually rather nice.

It gets close to 30mpg (tuned), 5 direction seat controls, and there are SO MANY used taurus's in salvage yards I can get any part I need for dirt cheap.

The drive train is also extremely easy to service. We've changed the oil twice now, water pump, fuel pump, filters (all changed), plugs/wires , timing chain, front suspension and soon to change the rear suspension soon as I get the scratch.

It's not really what I meant, in The Netherlands we have an annual check for your car. It's performed by your own mechanic and they test it for like tyre pressure, oil pressure and things like that. So a car with no bumpers as someone mentioned wouldn't make it through that check and is never seen on Dutch roads.

Lots of nice vehicles in here. Could have sworn I'd already posted mine.
It's a Suzuki SV650 Sport. Managed 141mph out of it.

Had it 3 years in August. Need to upgrade to a 1000cc tbh.

1995 Pontiac Grand Prix SE. Mine's teal. Mine has pretty much all of the options...HUD which is very cool, leather interior (that's going to Fuzzy Bunny), power windows and locks. Has a fancy ticker that can tell you everything from MPG to the outside temperature which is cool. It's got about 158k miles on it...Picked this pile up for 600 bucks and it hasn't stranded me anywhere, had it for a year. Not a bad deal.

I used to drive an 89 chevy blazer, it was my BABY. That thing was a goddamn tank...only thing I miss is the 4WD. Real useful in the Michigan winters.

BTW, pretty wicked sweet bike, Tal. ;)
