I just got an e-mail from "paypal" saying they needed my details to be updated because of maintenance. This is not true! Please, if anyone get's an e-mail from Paypal saying to update your detail, check the url, it probably isn't paypal! I know a lot of RV user's use Paypal, and it's a big website, so I'm letting everyone know before anyone else get's it.

The message starts and reads with:


Firstly this TOS is not true, paypal give you a lot longer than 24 hours to update your details, (about a month), and your account is never terminated, only suspended.

Please anyone that's get's an e-mail from "service@paypal.com" be very very careful about it.

As a quick note, the e-mail takes you to a page that uses the OLD layout of paypal. if you go to http://www.paypal.com you'll notice the new one if you haven't already, this e-mail will look like what paypal used to.
