In Icthlarin's Little Helper Quest Guide, there is no mention of an Unholy Symbol being needed in the item space, yet is needed to complete the quest.

There is indeed a mistake there...
My guess is that there is a typo in the guide, not an item left out:

Talk to the High Priest and he will ask you to talk to the Carpenter again. Once you talk to the Carpenter, you will receive the Holy Symbol. Then head back into the Pyramid and go all the way to the east Burial Chamber. You will go into a Trance.

Go through the Door and put the Unholy Symbol in one of the Sarcophagus, located all around the Walls.

My guess is that one of the two must be changed. Either you get an Unholy Symbol or you have to place a Holy Symbol in the Sarcophagus.
I could do the quest myself to check it out if you're not sure yourself. But is what I think correct? If so: which of the two should be changed, please? :)

Thanks for helping us :)
