OOC: No, he can’t survive without his head. I was being “sort of godmody” because that attack is my one chance to survive. Tanis has no real defenses and wouldn’t stand a chance against a Sith in close combat. I will be using a better character for the next battlefield.

BIC:The Energy-sword swept downward, catching Tanis across the neck. He fell backward, dead before he hit the ground.

"Natsu, you ." Gray set down his axe for a moment to remove his shirt, then picks it back up and took advantage of Natsu's fire ball to pull back his weapon, jump forward, and smash it down on the spherical swordsman.

It looked like Natsu intended to help him. This could mean only a few things.

A. He just wanted a good fight.
B. He thought Gray was on his side.
C. He wanted to get these two out of the way so they could finally settle the score.
D. He had come up with a similar list of possibilities in his own mind, probably animated them to himself in a cartoony fashion, the moron, and had chosen to take advantage of the fact that Gray had shown up, intending to evade capture and not let Gray win the Game, at all costs.


Somehow, Gray seemed to think that D was the most likely option.

OOC: Somehow I keep missing Kool-Aid's posts. Sorry about that.
And I pulled the other four Seeles back with the spirit threads, remember?
Plus, looking at this, I'm still at a loss as how to actually defeat my opponent. If he's invulnerable to my arrows, invulnerable to Sprengers, and pretty much invulnerable to my Seeles (I'm assuming that punching him the face isn't going to do squat), I'm out of options. Please tell me if he's not actually invulnerable to any of these.
Oh, and aren't you supposed to be firing Ceros from your tongue?
BIC: Teleporting out of his opponent's grip, Ishida re-appeared in the air above his opponent several meters away and shot first the Seele he had in his hand and then a large stream of arrows at the enemy.

"Gah. . ." Meta Knight pulled his blade up in order to block the attack, with wait of the weapon and his opponent fully leaning against him, "Very well then, Gray. If you're going to being openly hostile, I have no choice but respond in kind!" Meta Knight pushed back with all of his might, deflecting the blow, and leaped at Gray while he was still in mid-air, bringing his blade to a diagonal slice across the man's now bare chest.

Perhaps it was a sign of manliness, or could it just be this guy was stupid? Probably the latter, but no doubt he was powerful. His brightly colored ally would deal with the person blowing fire at his back. Hopefully. Even Meta Knight had doubts that he could handle the two himself.

OOC: HE CAN'T TELEPORT!

He can move fast enough that a slower opponent couldn't see where he was going but he can't teleport. If he could teleport I think that his battles would be a lot more convenient.

And in case anyone is wondering I'm not going to make any in character posts for a while because I'm getting bored with talking about how Ike feels watching his father battle. I'd fight someone else but Ike isn't the kind of character to just go fight random people. I'd interject in the fight Greil is in but I don't think Ike would help his father in a fight when he just randomly charged in and attacked someone. I know for a fact Ike wouldn't attack his own father so yeah... I'll just sit around for a while and wait for this Greil vs. Kit thing to end.

OOC: I know it's not real teleportation, but I'm not going to type out the whole name (I don't even know it). Speed-wise, it's practically teleportation as he moves pretty quickly from what I've seen (fast enough that in the anime you can't tell if he's teleporting or moving quickly at whatever frame rate you get from Dattebayo).

Nnoitra held up his zanpaktou, using it as a shield to block the majority of the arrows, along with the Seele, which divided the blade in half. Seeing this, he jumped back, and prepared his next attack.

OOC:Yeah, ok, I know what you mean by that. If your father were steps away, I can't think of a very good reason to prance off and destroy someone else. If Greil dies, Ike can't just wallow in pity, though, you know.

Dang, I was really hoping Meta Knight would find Bob and ask for help. That would have blown his mind...

BIC: Before the Seele hit the ground and lost the blade, Ishida pulled back his hand, around which a spirit thread could be briefly seen running to the Seele that had just been shot, causing it to come spinning back, its path heading right toward the Arrancar's back.

Taking notice of the spirit thread, Nnoitra managed to move before it managed to hit his back. He repositioned his zanpaktou, then decided it was time. "Pray, Santa Teresa."

Red Mage just barely was able to jump to the side when a large jet of flame was shot at him. He quickly thought in his head 'So, this guy's a fire user eh? I'll need Magic Defence then...'

Red Mage focused and Mimed the ability just used on him, and released it right back at his foe. In the meantime, he pulled out his Stat Sheet, erased the extra points he had put in SPD, and moved them to Magic Defence. Tucking it away, he waiting for the man's next move.
