This is my second Runescape story. I'm using a whole different set of main characters this time (I just borrowed two of my main characters from Shadows over Glienor because I couldn’t think any up). I need two major characters and a mess of minor characters, so if anyone wants to be included, ask nicely and give me a rough description of your character and I will consider it.

Revenge of the Autoers

Chapter 1: the PKer

Cm12905 knocked another bolt in his rune crossbow and sent the diamond-headed bolt toward its target. One of the people killing dragons in the canyon below collapsed as the bolt hit it. Cm loaded another bolt and killed another of the dragon-slayers. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a flash of greenish-purple light. He ducked just in time, as two arrows, shrouded in greenish-purple light that almost resembled a dragon’s head, rushed overhead and smashed into a tree, setting the tree on fire. Looking up, he saw a human approaching. It walked rather stiffly, and its face wore no expression. It was clad in green dragonhide, with a dragonite dagger in one hand and a runeite defender in the other. It had a strange bow slung over its shoulder, and a pair of what appeared to be poisoned mithril claws attached to its belt. Quick as lightning, Cm removed a dragonstone-headed bolt from his quiver and loaded it in his crossbow. “PKer!” he yelled.

Instantly, the being sprang forward. It stuck the dagger back in its sheath and pulled out a dragonite longsword. Cm fired the bolt, but he started to panic and it missed. Scrambling up (and dropping his crossbow in the process) he was barely able to block the sword with his dragon breath shield. The powerful shield protected him, but the force of the blow knocked him backwards, and he tripped on his crossbow and went sprawling in the volcanic ash. The autoer fired a teleblock spell to prevent him from teleporting, then a bind spell that froze Cm in place.

“We are an autoer. Your useless attempt to stop us was futile. You will die.” It said simply. It looked down, and then picked something up. Horrified, cm recognized one of the poisoned runite bolts. “You will die. Your items will help us greatly.” The autoer stated, and plunged the bolt through cm’s chainmail. Weakly, he tried to whisper a prayer to Saradomin for revenge, but cm’s own dragon scimitar came crashing down on his neck, ending his life before he could complete the prayer.

Hearing the commotion on the other side of the canyon, Sm12904 headed there at a run. He arrived just as a strange PKer was picking up his friend’s dragonfire shield. “Drop that NOW!” he warned, knocking two arrows in his shortbow. The strange figure just concentrated on the shield for a second, and a blast of dragon fire flew out, enveloping sm in flames. “We are an autoer. Your useless attempt to stop us was futile. You will die.” It said, dropping the shield and whipping out its strange bow. Sm fired. Both arrows hit the strange PKer dead on-and bounced off. “You will die. Your items will help us greatly.” It said, releasing its arrows. Both arrows, enveloped in greenish-purple light shaped almost like a dragon’s head, hit sm dead on. He dropped to his knees, barely alive. “fire strike” he muttered, pointing his hands at the being. The spell flew toward it, hitting with force that could bring down the strongest dragon. Its target barely even noticed. Trying to summon the strength to fire another blast, Sm did not notice that the PKer had reloaded. The light-shrouded arrows flew again, hitting perfectly. Sm12904 crashed to the wilderness’s volcanic ash, never to rise again.

Tahu 1000
Tahu 1000 is a powerful fighter who also has passable skills with ranged weapons (especially crossbows) and the theoretical and more domestic side of magic. His main weapon is a dragon longsword, while he carries a dragon dagger slathered in super poison on his leg. Lastly, he has a bone crossbow of the type used by the cave goblins on his hip. He carries a shield decorated with the colors of Kandarin, and is clad in armor emblazoned with the holy symbol of Saradomin. Best described as a paladin, he is one of the most devout followers of Saradomin among the ranks of adventurers. He attributes most of his victories to the holy god, and always gives the remains of his foes a burial.
He has encountered autoers before, though none strong enough to actually fight. He mainly sees them when he is fishing, his favorite hobby.

You are correct, it is a novel. I think Tahu meant that he wanted to be major / minor character.

Even still, joining like that is for roleplays. This is a novel, in which only you can really do what you want to it, sm.

As for the novel myself, my only real complaint after reading (well, skimming really) was the "sm12904" character... A person named as an abbreviation and / or with numbers? Even if it's Runescape based, could you try to make it a little more.... original?

Chapter 2- the PKer strikes again

Tahu 1000 continued digging desperately. Clang! His shovel bounced off a box buried in the clay and volcanic dust. Quickly picking up the box, he started to run south. He hadn’t made it two steps when he froze so suddenly that he almost knocked himself out. “Are you Tahu 1000, expert miner and fisherman?” a voice asked. “Who’s asking?”
“Are you Tahu 1000, expert miner and fisherman?”
“I said, who’s asking?”
“Are you Tahu 1000, expert miner and fisherman?”
“I said, who’s asking!?”
“Are you Tahu 1000, expert miner and fisherman?”
“Alright, so I am! What do you want?!” Tahu said, getting slightly irritated. Three beings appeared, all wearing black dragonhide. One carried a runeite crossbow and dragonfire shield, another had a magic shortbow, and the third was carrying a bow Tahu didn’t recognize. All three were pointing their weapons at him. “We are autoers. You will aid us. Resist and you will die.” the lead one said. “Never!” Tahu yelled, trying to grab his crossbow. “Resist and you will die.” The lead one repeated, pulling out a rune warhammer and hitting him over the head. Tahu crumpled to the volcanic ash of the wilderness, out like a light.

Daran 5 strolled into the Falador park, his magic shortbow slung over his shoulder and his rune dagger slung at his side, next to his rune defender. “OUCH!!! OUCH!!!” He suddenly exclaimed. By randomly waving his hand, he managed to free his long, orange-and grey hair from the string of his bow. “Ouch, that hurt!” he commented, taking his bow off his shoulder and unstringing it. “You got my message, old bean?” a voice asked. Spinning around, Daran spotted Sir Tiffy Cashien sitting on one of the park benches. “I did. Your messenger irrupted me while I was replacing the sink in my kitchen.”
“That would explain why you look so dizzy and have a large bump on your head, old bean.” Sir Tiffy replied. “But we can talk later. We have a dangerous situation arising. You must come with me to the temple knight castle.”

Standing up with a small groan (sitting for hours in plate armor makes you VERY stiff and sore) Sir Tiffy seized Daran’s hand and teleported them both to the temple knight castle. “Follow me, old bean.” He said, opening the door and leading Daran out into the hallway. The temple knight castle was a very large building, but Sir Tiffy Cashien knew its layout well, and within minutes they had reached some sort of conference room. At least ten temple knights in white robes sat around a table, looking worried. “Take a seat. This meeting will begin in a few minutes” he said. “Thank you.” Daran replied, sitting down in an empty chair. While he waited, he reviewed in his mind what he knew about the temple knights. They were a very secretive group, founded by Saradomin himself to help protect humans. They were some incredibly skilled warriors, archers and wizards in the group, and they all used special armor that increased their loyalty to Saradomin…

“May I please have the attention of the entire group?” Sir Amik Varze asked, stepping up to the head of the table. “Yes, sorry.” Daran said. “We are here today to discuss the autoer problem.” Sir Amik Varze continued.“This is going to be boring.” Daran thought.

Chapter 3

“As you all know, for several years we have been tracking a strange group that we call the Autoers. We have never been able to infiltrate this group, or find out much about its motives. Up until a few hours ago, all they did was cut trees and sell the logs, or kill green dragons and sell the hides and bones. By doing this they have amassed, in spite of our best efforts, tremendous amounts of cash…” Here he turned to one of the other temple knights. “We estimate that they have at least 25 million gold coins.” The temple knight stated. “But, as of five hours ago, they stopped selling their products and began hoarding them.” Sir Amik continued. “And, as of four hours ago, they began buying enormous quantities of runes, arrows, thread, and building supplies. We have reports of them buying four hundred elemental battlestaves, as well as…”

“What would they want with those?” Daran asked.
“I’m getting to that.” Sir Amik answered. “As well as five thousand law runes. They have been loading everything they buy, as well as large amounts of logs and green dragonhide, into canoes and carrying them into the wilderness. We believe they are trying to build something.” “What are they trying to build?” Daran put in impatiently. “We don’t know. All we know is that YOU” here he pointed at a very startled Daran “must stop them. If you chose to accept this mission, that is.” Daran’s mind went into a hyperactive state. A real adventure! A chance to do something other than shoot at a target in the archer’s guild and craft battlestaves! A chance to prove himself a hero! “I accept this mission!” he almost shouted. “Are you sure? This will be a very dangerous mission. There is a very good chance you will be killed.” Sir Amik Varze stated. “I said I accept!” Daran said. “All right, you needn’t yell. We will assign Savant to assist you, and I believe your ComOrb is in your bank…” he was cut off by an incredible blast of noise that almost deafened the entire room. “ALERT! WE HAVE AN AUTOER SITATION IN LUMBRIGE! ALERT! WE HAVE…”
“Your mission begins sooner than we expected! Savant! Lead him to the bank and let him get out his equipment, then teleport him to Lumbrige!” Sir Amik stated. Savant stood up quickly, and headed for the door, pausing only long enough to open the door and make sure Daran was following. They headed down the hall and through another door, into the bank. He quickly spoke to the banker and was teleported to his bank vault.

He grabbed a runeite medium helm off the top shelf, replaced his wizard’s robes with a set of mystic robes, pulled on his blue dragonhide vambraces, and put his bracelet of combat (a powerful teleportation device) on top of that. He grabbed his ComOrb and stuffed it in his pocket, put on his amulet of glory, grabbed a few roasted lobsters and stuffed them in his backpack along with two poison- curing potions, and finished up by grabbing a few handfuls of coins and pouring them into his pocket before stepping out the door- and realizing he has forgot any weapons. Quickly, he grabbed a few handfuls of runes, a magic short bow, and a quiver full of runeite arrows. He stuffed his rune dagger and defender into his belt, along with a runeite throwing axe. He stepped back out the door- and strait into the path of a teleother Lumbrige.

Nvrtrustu is a STRONG str pure....wearsa only monk robes dragonbreath sheild and a rune scimi....catches lobbys for food... and is ENTIRELY str pure(makin sure) 40 attack... and loves travelling deep in the wildy...he is also very quick and swift on his feet

Yeah, and he's going to get pwned. With the accuracy of those autoers, you won't last a second before getting hit. Tahu, at least, has his armor to protect him.

Ok, kitty cat dude has even Hit point,attack,strength,defence all around sixty. Mage and range are both 40. When in the wildy, He wears classic full rune with his scife. (Sad combination, but it's what I wear )

Kittycatdude and Munny- I will include both of your characters, but I won't be able to introduce them for a few chapters.
